I think @rubenmdh asked them once about hw replacements, if hw was to fail.

They replaced the SSDs on one of my servers a while ago. (Due to wearout)
But I don't think they will upgrade my server/CPU anytime soon. One can only hope

Headsup: From my experience, the discounts don't get better as the schedule goes on (disclaimer: DYOR). Meaning today between 11-12, I would expect the highest discounts for lifetime vps.

F me. I am taking a flight which was scheduled to arrive at 11:05, but now is delayed to 11:45ish. I'll probably be in air without possibility to get in on the first discounts. But I don't need any more lifetime vps anyway Not that I wouldn't buy one for the funs

On Mydealz someone said you get the discount even if you upgrade resources at a later point. So, I probably stand corrected. Meaning you can buy the cheapest vps for 41€ now and upgrade any time later with the same discount (not confirmed; mydealz info).

I've been overall happy with the performance of my other lifetimes, with the exception of disk speed. This one is slightly better, but still the obvious bottleneck of the system.

I can confirm this has also been applied to dedicated servers. Traffic reset price has increased from 9.90€ to 29.90€ though.

No. All Vps will eventually be moved, but it can't be requested manually.

The lifetime VPS that I bought yesterday at Ashburn (US East) is an EPYC.
Funny the IP address is geolocated at Baghdad/Frankfurt depending on who you ask; support ticket says it is normal and the GeoIP people will eventually update; I can't confirm or deny that

Still configuring it but overall seems very snappy.

It is a fact that if you buy a VPS (vServer) with a configuration higher than 5.5 vCores, the performance is not used continuously. I made a mistake when buying a VPS in Germany, with an order of 64 vCores (((. My VPS cannot take full advantage of the performance, any CPU burst activity greater than 5.5 vCores will be automatically sent an email by Zap-Hosting (Regardless of the configuration of your VPS) and the system will automatically shut down the VPS. It feels so disappointing.
