There’s certainly some perspective, we have some very talented youngsters coupled with a few experienced players. Euro 2020 is just too early for this team. Maybe it’ll be better in 2022 or 2024. Certainly if they get rid of De Boer.
TL;DR the Dutch squad is not good and the coach sucks.
When De Boer started his coaching career he immediately became champion of NL with Ajax (they were third when he started) and repeated this 3 times. So he had the talent to become a great coach, but somehow he forgot all of it.
