I got the following reply from them:

    Dear Customer,

We are currently experiencing an issue with node POM2 due to a disk pool failure, resulting in service disruption. Our team is actively working on recovering the disks; however, this process may take several days.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience as we resolve the matter.

    Fixed it for C1V:

"We are currently putting down node POM2 because our 'disk issue' on POM4 didn't have the desired effect of scaring of enough customers. So we're doing the same 'trick' on POM2. And if it doesn't have the result we want, we'll proceed with POM3."

btw. I assume everyone was put into "other" node, already in use... and the steal gonna be epic, 2-in-1 :-D

Yup, 25%+ cpu steal while syncing files back to it over ssh. About 20mbyte/s. Terrible.

I think it is perfect timing to change Low Performance Advisory to No Performance Advisory

This would be the business location according to C1V website and company listings in Italy. It is hard to imagine that block having a basement with servers. Maybe the servers are at the top and connection drops whenever it rains.

    Shall we send some mail?

[SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE] Critical Hardware Upgrade - POM4 Node - Saturday, Nov 23
    Dear Customer,

Following our previous communication regarding the disk failure on the POM4 node, we want to inform you about upcoming maintenance that will implement a permanent solution to this issue.

On Saturday, November 23, we will be performing essential maintenance during two time windows:

    Morning session: 09:00 to 13:00
    Evening session: 18:00 to 22:00
    During this maintenance, we will:

    Replace the failed disk
    Replace the currently functioning disk
Install 2 new SSDs dedicated to the operating system
Perform a complete reinstallation of the node's operating system
These upgrades will significantly enhance the stability and performance of your VPS service. During the maintenance windows, your VPS will be temporarily unavailable.

We recommend backing up your data before the maintenance begins. Once completed, this solution will provide improved reliability and prevent similar issues in the future.

  • Yes I have some 5$/year ipv6 VPS and they are sending such emails all the time... Would avoid.

It is like a monthly subscription where you pay to receive spam.

  • Anyone have their vps online ? Since the maintenance server is stopped

Mine is online, at least no HT alerts so I assume it's online.

EDIT: Yeah, it's up, logged via ssh.

Maybe you need to click start in panel because no AutoBoot(TM)?!

I tried that and its still stays in offline mode.. Just send them mail.. lets see what is. Thanks
