Meppel is now available as replacement for Groningen, same packages as before.
Everyone that still has a container or virtual-machine on Groningen will be notified, in a bit, to give them enough time to migrate.

Recently there has been made a change to Incus, which requires an additional device.
That by default isn't added, hence some virtual machines refuse to boot.

So far as of my knowledge, it only affects CentOS Stream on Meppel, which is our first Incus kvm node.
If you run into issues, please choose a different OS for now, until a fix is available.

• Containers that exceed the 50% usage cpu cap for more than 2 hours, will be rebooted automatically, this wasn't enabled before
  You will get a bunch of emails as before, if your usage is below 50% its considered fine for now, however keep it reasonable.

and it got rebooted by the system,

how do i know which of my vm's this is? i'd like to check it further.
for now I'm just using it as a personal vpn (web browsing)

India, yea you exceeded 50% cpu usage on a shared system for a few hours.
I will see what I can do to better reflect hostnames in the interface.

actually the cpu usage is quite strange as i don't use the india vm yet, for anything.
i have temporary shut it down to prevent anything worse

You can check the logs, from the first email you should be able to figure it out.
Sometimes I have seen apt-get hanging, while doing some background tasks, hammering a full cpu core.

However can't tell you what process that was, since not storing or processing that information.

Usually I log in to each VM to see their container ID.

So if you get a 128MB LXC container, only 64MB will be deducted, as long as you keep it.

Runs either until the memory threshold is hit or CM ends.

Update about the Finland node.
2 Hours ago PulseMedia responded to my ticket and carried out a hard reset.
The issue was the network card, why it decided to shit itself, I can't tell yet.

The node is back online for now.

SG Deployment update

Today there was an error on deployments in SG, looks like VPN tunnel died, which is fixed.

We got a new IPv6 block for SG from WebHorizion.

Wednesday, next week, I am going to swap out the IPv6 block in SG.
Around 22:00 CET, it should not take longer than a few minutes.

You have to reconfigure the network via the Panel, after the swap.
If you don't your IPv6 connectivity will stop working until you do.

The VM is deleted, however there was an error hence it wasn't removed from the database, sorted.
You get this error either if the Node is not reachable or the Node doesn't return any info about your VM.
