I am also very interested in this type of service, could you please give more details about it ? what is the price per tb ? the extra hdd is not just hetzner storage box ，right ？

It is not a storage box but another dedicated storage server, also using NVMe cache for a RAID10 array of HDDs. The performance is good in most cases but it cannot sustain the highest of throughput for large transfers. I am working on optimizing it, which is also why it is not available on the site right now, but I haven't heard any negatives from the 10 or so people who grabbed it.

Sure, you could do that. Just stating that if I do get a notice I'll need to handle it, even though I do not agree. The drives should not be an issue. The server is pushed pretty much right now, a lot of people are filling up their storage. The bottleneck is the 1gbps connection, but it should be all good once people aren't pushing terabytes onto the server.

The 40% coupon will be active for 1 hour more, as it ends at sunday midnight CET. The 20% coupon will remain active as long as stock lasts, which suitably is around 20% of server resources.

Just as a FYI for new orders and those who have ordered. The demand for this has been quite overwhelming and we're currently seeing many people filling up their servers. Network performance might be suboptimal for a little while until people have filled their servers.

It's fighting for its life. Potential 90TB of VPS fighting to be filled. Drive performance is showing its worth though, barely affected even though its consistently reading/writing 120MB/s at the moment.
