pCloud 20GB Free Lifetime Cloudstorage

pCloud is currently offering 20GB for free for lifetime during their 12th birthday :) Get it while you can
https://landing.pcloud.com/Birthday2025

I've been using pCloud (Cloud storage provider out of Switzerland) for a couple of years now and replaced GDrive/MSDrive with it. Been very happy so far, albeit the big players obviously still are a bit more reliable and advanced.

Apparently pCloud WordPress Backup plugin now functions again:

@bikegremlin maybe use as free backup? :P

I signed up yestarday. Extra 20GB storage never hurt anyone (that i know of)

    pClould WP Backup.... Hmm... maybe...?

When I used the wp plugin from pCloud when it released, it didn't work properly. Apparently now it does. Would be convenient. Got 2,5TB on pcloud lol. Gotta try it some day.

That's how it looks now. Still very basic, but it authenticated successfully to my pCloud account. Backup is currently being uploaded. 2.2TB free storage on pCloud. Let's goo :)

  • Hm, maybe it would be interesting if this works well with Multisite-WP installations ... 🤓

Wearing socks in the sheets is proven to be more comfortable. It is studied that wearing socks increases warm blood circulation and allows women to feel their orgasm much faster, but let's not digress.

It seems it works only if old account invites a new one (just got email for it).

Both inviter and invitee get 20 GB free as per terms, as long as both accounts are in same data region.

If anyone wants to sign up, here is my invite link above(EU region). @Ympker , you should post yours too.

Not so sure about that. I signed up yesterday on the back of this thread directly, no referral, and have 20GB. I then received that e-mail, it doesn't suggest the referral gives additional storage. Anyone confirm?

MyDealz posts by other new users suggest that free users can't go above 20GB with any of the extra GB tasks (invite, download client, confirm email..). Seems like that's only for regular free users who would only get 5GB so they can reach up to 20GB. If it works for someone, feel free to confirm. Would be nice :D

Yea, max 20GB, so invites or doing stuff to get extra GBs dont work. max 20GB for free users.

The maximum is 20Gb. I signed up using the first link and got 20gb as soon as i signed up. Did some of the steps, like uploading documents, downloading desktop and mobile apps. That didn't increase my storage. Asked a friend to sign up with my link. They got 20gb too. But mine's still 20gb, it didn't increase.

Terms and Conditions states max. 20 gb.

Yep, looks like you too didn't read the Terms and conditions... like most of us

I also did things like verify my email and first file upload, but when the size did not increase to 22GB, stopped. Still 20GB is good enough and is definitely more then my google drive storage.

I got someone to signup through my link, storage went from 10 GB (I already had completed referral tasks) to 20 GB. The new user also got 20 GB.

I am sorry for misleading people, I thought it was +20 for inviter and +20 for invitee (total 30).

It could be if you are a paid member. Unfortunately free members cant go over 20GB so it gets capped there. Still 20GB is more then enough!

Indeed, and that seems only the remote 'fetch from URL' facility. WebDAV doesn't seem to be available at all on the free account.

Good question, I'm guessing not, as rclone's access seems to be based on their API. Their FAQ says (of remote upload traffic):

This is the traffic you accumulate when you use Remote Upload or pCloud Save to upload files.

I was planning to add pCloud to some backup routines which were already using WebDAV to other services, but might shoehorn rclone in as an alternative here, I'll easily blow the 15GB in a few weeks and feed back if it stops working.

WebDAV certainly doesn't work for me, but rclone seemingly does, and it appears to use the API.

That said I read they only made WebDAV a premium feature in 2022, so API access could yet be pulled from the free tier, and I need to test if it's subject to that 15GB remote upload limit.
