Partly Incorrect. A few western nations use it and officially most other countries, doesn’t mean “Whole World “ uses it. For commercial or other reasons.

We use dual system Gregorian / Shaka Samvatsar, latter for calculating all occasions for marriages/ major event also sometimes rocket launches. 🚀

By extension Ramadan/Ramzan would have fallen same month every year had Hijri calendar not been the basis.

Likewise in many other countries/cultures…

My main interest is in celebration and by extension, deals ! Latter may override the former at times.
