Quite the opposite! We noticed that some customers weren’t using them, and we’d love to have more "active" customers enjoying our offerings. 😊
So rather then let them sit, we offer the possibility to get something that you might like more.

Additionally, all of our products can be exchanged for credit if they no longer meet your needs or if you wish to purchase something else. This ensures you can enjoy something you truly want, rather than letting an unwanted product expire unused.

can I then get the deals if someone converts them to credits? 😉

My 500GB NVMe server got renewed automatically today and I don't need it anymore. It's $8/m

Who wants it? $8 + any fees. Otherwise I'm placing a cancelation request.

@host_c not sure if this was discussed before, but there were plans to add an additional upstream right? Will this be effective in Digi Oradea, or will it be at the new location(s)?

Oradea might not get 2 different ISP links, as that turned out to be more complicated that initially discussed with them. It is a 1 year long story. We have 2 links there, but both from same ISP ( DiGi ).

New locations from now on will have 2 different upstream link's from start.

We wish to finalize some internal stuff + other before we open up location 2, as we wish to give the option for customers to be able to migrate services from Oradea -> Location 2, this will imply an IP change, but other then that it will go without reinstall, data loss or other measly things that usually happen. ( in other words an offline migration + ip change ). Details on this will be given after the go-live of location 2.

So far I am happy with the service. I don't wish to change from DIGI. I like the old saying: if it works, don't fix it. Please leave services as they are for customers who want things to stay the same.

Maybe @host_c could use that classified location to construct and advertising thread. Make a riddle, let people guess, and the ones who guess the location receive a special promo code or promo offer in that classified location.

We might have something for the next round of Promos, it is still under construction, but it will be fun =)

Now, on the more interesting stuff. :3

In 48H we will randomly upgrade some storage VPS services ( regardless of size ) from Xeon Scale Gen 1 to Xeon Scale Gen 2, so if you see your services powered off then back on, don't freak out.

There are 20 slots available. B)

    EDIT:

That Classified location will hold some services, but they all will be IPV6 only B)

  • @cybertech said: @host_c location 2 will not have the usual IPv4 ones?

No, New location will have New Ip's, I really do not wish to do VXLAN and transport some of the IP's from Oradea there. It will just add Latency to it. ( so would MPLS or other forms of transport )

We will see, for the moment I was visiting 3 DC, and waiting to see how negotiations go price wise.

Why not make your own datacenter? Besides, Romania does not have large high-end datacenters from what I know. Maybe you can take EU funding. This is just a thought.

    I saw Voxility, M247 and a few of DIGI ( RDS-RCS ) datacenters.

These are multi Million USD investments, done the right way, so that is out of my budget for... next decade??? =) =)

Second problem is that in Oradea, no major ISP is present, the max you can get is ~5GBPS from GTS maybe?? I will not count the GSM operators here as they suck. ( it took us over 12 months to get that 10 GBPS line @ DIGI + a backup line, but the cost is.... I will not say it as it makes me angry just to think of it )

All of the more premium ISP are present in Bucharest, so the only way to gain access to them is to go there.

If you wish to make a good deal, you have to go where the offer is high, otherwise, the one or two that are present in your area will dictate the price ( monopoly ).

Does this mean that in the near future, Ryzen can be upgraded again for a one-time fee? Or is it a separate product line?

For the moment separate Product Line, I still have to be convinced of it's stability before we will throw in add-on storage for it.

I wish to see thermal and overall stability first. For the moment, I am pleased with the results.
