I believe there are already a lot of tickets open, so I think I'll wait a bit before opening one. However, since many VPSs are likely to expire around August 2025, resulting in a surge of tickets, it’s probably better to open one before that, right?
Yeah go ahead, sooner is always better. We knew the surge was coming, already sent a pallet of frozen pizza and dr pepper to @ skorupion
Thanks, I've opened a ticket (but I won't post the ticket number here because it's not cool).
I also opened up a ticket and can very gladly report that they did not disappoint with their transition plan and will happily continue using this and the other services we have had. That pallet of frozen pizza and Dr. Pepper was definitely worth it. Thank you for the great service!

Hi @crunchbits - I really appreciate the promo you gave me last year, I waited patiently for it in the Discord room. Hopefully you can offer me something to sweeten this year's black friday mood a little. Thanks

The services with discount code "FRANKZ" are not affected right? @crunchbits
The power of FRANKZ will not be diminished.
Never lost hope. Poster still proudly hanging in datacenter where all the younger guys continually ask "hey, uhh.. who is that? why is he hanging on a server cabinet?"
EDIT: You can always tell them that it is the guy that wrote this song ....
On second though maybe not.
I actually have not heard this before. This is actually quite nice, thank you @FrankZ. Added to my spotify favorites (and thats a small list of what I tolerate to repeat)

It's the simple low end launch strategy.
Offer an unsustainable deal and cram as many users as you can onto your limited nodes.
Add more nodes from the overselling activity and or a few rented IP blocks.
Retain customers willing to pay a premium and run the churn machine all over again.
Disagree. I never use those providers long term - most of them end up deadpooling us. They are also usually pretty bad providers, I do not see those ones advertising on this forum.

It is the holiday season, they also have a large backlog of tickets. I also submitted my ticket today based on feedback I got so I expect them to get back to me probably next week honestly. They will get back to you way before me.

It does not seem like a pump and dump to me.
Below is one row of racks in their WA DC.
Seldomly do pump and dump operations have this many racks, or such top notch personnel.
Just saying.

Anyways this was just a clever bait and switch, I guess they will audit the tickets better and only allow people who are good this time who knows
What bait-and-switch? This was a tax on people who can't read and follow directions.

Sorry I should have phrased it better I mean it was a bait for people who can't read , bait them out to cancel

Yea, I think it's because the promos they made were meant for only LES/OGF. It seems like most of those customers were good, but then it got shared outside of LES/OGF in places where the trouble customers were. Those customers are the ones that are all upset because they just started rumors based on bad translations to their language.

Opened a ticket a week ago but still haven't get any reply... have this surge gone?
How? Just...how?
I was more like "AAAAHHH, why did my entire screen turn yellow?" and then had to scroll for two minutes to get to the actual webpage below the status message. How did you miss that? I'm not even mad, just impressed.
I don't think so. I received a response pretty quickly 9 days ago, but that was it (the ticket is still open).
Things are more time-demanding because many of those transactions are too old to be refunded automatically and require manual intervention.

Yep, you're correct. Anything that was too old to automatically refund from our panel is being batched--but it's simply manually sending the calculated refund out as a PayPal payment like you would do to for any random p2p PayPal transaction and then logging it and entering back into the billing system as a refund so our records aren't a complete mess EOY. About to do a big chunk today again.

For clarity; you want us to raise a Ticket, for you to then provide an appropriate equivalent/alternative package?
I did. You made me a good offer but never answered the ticket or delivered. The service was terminated, and the second ticket was already closed. Good job!
I noticed one of my services had been cancelled, it was one they said I would not be able to renew due to the configuration of it. but I have just noticed that ALL my services have been set to cancel without the option to renew and without any notification

They'll be extending the duration of these services until they're migrated to newer hardware. Just make sure to poke them days before they expire just in case, to prevent accidents. But they haven't been silently cancelled with the intention of getting rid of you. It's just an... interesting way to handle servers to be processed.
EDIT: Just for clarification, so far they've been extending the duration of these services, free of charge. You're not even being billed at the moment.

they have not even contacted us to let us know about this, so I have lost one service without notification, nothing important was on it, because I already stopped using it last year when they said they would not renew that one, but I noticed all my services have been set to cancel. it has rubbed me the wrong way I will wait until there is a few months left on them if the system has not been updated I will migrate them to a new provider. the usage of what are almost minimal for a reddit bot to assist with moderation and a very small website.

I'd have expected this one, because again, they told you they'd not renew it. Unfortunate that WHMCS doesn't notify you right before a service is going to be cancelled.
All non-migrated yearlies are on cancellation status, but they're not actually cancelling them. I guess they did it so you aren't billed for the time being.
they did actually cancel this one. I have 2 3GB ending at the start of 2026 that are the ones I am actually utilizing I hope they do not actually cancel.

Don't know how you're calling getting a better CPU, NVMe storage and a bump in RAM for the same price as before as "paying a premium" but okay.
