We do.
But the photo gives them a meaty red color instead of the bright red that I’m used to.
If I didn’t know that you don’t eat meat, I would have been scared of you now. ?

Yeah, its not like I eat it every day though, also, I cooked them in extra virgin olive oil.

It was pretty darn good. Romaine, carrots, red cabbage, a light vinegar/oil/blue blend, cracked pepper. Ignore the 3 croutons, I was feeling feisty.

I hope those veges are fresh, but they look canned. You can hold the sausage and spuds for me; I already eat unhealthy enough.

Pee is obviously a local seasoning, we're not all used to taking the piss..

it was a quick 15 minute throw together dinner as I had 101 things to get done., tinned pee's and caroots, I added some frozen Korn.

sosig's are just soy protein.

Other than the fast-food chicken, that looks absolutely delightful. I would have assumed it was a breaded and fried Zucchini.

It’s just a plant based “chicken burger” the real ones are reconstituted crap anyway so it’s not hard to mimic.

Never forget what it's like to be poor; pretty sure most of us were at one point. You'll stretch things pretty far.

I had rotisserie chicken and a slightly-outdated-but-still-good bagged chopped salad. A leg and a wing was more than enough meat; I'm contemplating boiling the skin and bones when done with it to make stock. Can always mix that with rice, canned vegetables and other chicken bits. Of course, I saved the breast- that'll make a nice Chicken Diablo later tonight.

Low funds for a long time relates to developing habits & life skills that stick with you forever. Peeling tomatoes is super easy, making your own bread, tortillas, & pastas. Dried beans and old ugly veggies to make soups. Creating actual menus that really taste & look good for very little money. i.e. Fried rice can be a life saver. Lots of Mexican, Middle Eastern, & Asian foods are super cheap too, and you can make a lot for just a few bucks. Learn how to do it, and you can always 'dine' well, for cheap. Even when you're 'up'.
