Noticing a few fresh accounts dropping SEO spam links via their profile page.
Not seeing any easy way to flag these (other than PM to @AnthonySmith) ...
Was considering to create a dedicated thread in "Off Topic" (not indexed) for flagging spam, but really not sure how that would pan out. Perhaps there might be a better method?
More of a feature request: Could you add that the "Thanked by" shows a counter like on LET? Anything over 5 thanks gets kinda hard to guesstimate the amount of thanks.

Should be able to do that yes
I've committed the change to Git
Oh nice one, I was going to do that one myself but appreciate it

In Chrome/IOS, the image insert drop down in the editor (in a thread or pm) pops up, accepts a url, but has no save button. Pressing return clears and doesn’t insert the image.
No clear work around.

It can be fixed but requires modifications to the Vanilla Core which will break future updates. That said, I might have an idea or two on how to solve this without having to modify the Vanilla Core after getting some more experience in working with Vanilla.
Not sure if already reported, or if that's just being extremely sensitive - but clicking the gear top right of a post to edit it - canceling that edit and then trying to re-open the edit dialogue won't show the gear's drop-down menu again.

Yep it is known, needs some core changes though and @Solaire is a busy busy bee atm irl.
I posted something in a code snippet in c'est pit, realised no spacing and tried to edit it and replace it with the quote setting by clicking the option at the top of a post and it just f5's the page. Same thing happened when trying to change it to a spoiler.
Works fine on the original comment.
Context: Dark mode, Firefox, Linux, etc.
Edit: Just to double check, I edited this post, tried adding/replacing a quote/spoiler and the page refreshed with no changes saved.

It's been a while since I have been able to load the forum my work phone (Lumia 640, Windows 10 Mobile, Edge as web browser).
Yes, it's a Microsoft phone and its been discontinued, but it still gets the job done.

Apperently it doesn’t, if you can’t load the forum

Probably I am missing something, but, there is no "Cancel" button for the "Leave a Comment" field. So, if I start to leave a comment and change my mind, what seems to happen is that the page saves forever that which was written in the "Leave a Comment" field without having clicked "Post Comment." How does one cancel or otherwise make a clean exit after starting to leave a comment but then deciding not to? Thanks!
Just in the last few days, without my seemingly having changed anything on my Android phone, Chrome seems to have started displaying some LES pages (but not T.LES pages) in Lite mode:
So far I'm unaware of specific problems LITE causes, but maybe we ought to be aware of the possibil(oh)ity that there could be hidden problems?

no idea, my new phone arrives on Saturday so I will test it then.
Would like to request a feature: When you're logged out and click on the login button, it should auto-focus on the username box without any further action from the user to do so
@teamacc said: Would like to request a feature: When you're logged out and click on the login button, it should auto-focus on the username box without any further action from the user to do so
I would not know where to start with that however I will consult with @Solaire might be something that can be done, if it is fairly quick I can get that done however you will appreciate given that it only saves 1 click or touch it won't be a high priority as I have just set out a schedule of work.
Nice one though, every little convenience and removal of minor irritations makes it a better experience so I (really) appreciate the input.

Should be easy to do, assuming it's not a core change. I'll look into it when I'm working with Vanilla.

Fair enough
Was just wondering if there might be some other use of that colour combination elsewhere in the CSS that might cause issues.
No. You are wrong!
HS4LIFE (+ (* 3 4) (* 5 6))
Fair play - maybe there's no trolling in the dark?
Nope, it's not used elsewhere

When you view your number of thanks on the profile page, there's a space missing between the count and the first name.

You could've just forced it to be wide 100% of the viewarea tbh
That would assume I was considering mobile, which I never do, also I have HTML only pockets to work with.

Is there a RSS feed for user discussions? I'd like to track the offers from specific providers

Thanks. But I mean a feed containing only the discussions by a specific user.
Something like https://talk.lowendspirit.com/profile/imok/discussions.rss but it has wall posts instead.
Anyway, I think I can filter the main discussions feed.
Thank you!
https://talk.lowendspirit.com/profile/comments/imok is about as close as it will get, not is rss standard/format but maybe easy to crawl with a basic script that checks for updates.
