its even better than that: there were some severe thunderstorms in the UK at the time, and they used that as an excuse why all the appsumo deals disappeared. something like flooding in the datacenter.

only thing they forgot is that they had moved the users from i20 to hetzner some time before that. so basically they claimed that rain in the UK took out their server in Germany.
