We accept Karma donations for the last flan. 🍮 affbrr

@ehab for you, I meant to tag you
https://webhorizon.net
i will go for one and test things out
I would assume this is the same as "Help me test" machine... so yabs.
Haven't bought a single service in VirMach Great Ryzen 2022 - 2023 Flash Sale.
No IPv6 on this
It’s 8GB, right?
--
However I am pretty sure (just like OGF?) it was 8GB earlier without the asterisk and if you bought it early with monthly they will honor the mistake.

Hi
This particular offer includes 4GB ram, 50gb Nvme, 1xCPU core if paid monthly.
2x the resources if prepaid annually.
https://webhorizon.net
Ah, missed the 2x CPU if annual part!
Yes it was honored
What???
Reboot fixed this. Still weird
suport ISO windows?
Not normal. please let me know if it occurs again or make a ticket.
https://webhorizon.net
Hi,
Sorry Windows is not supported on these
https://webhorizon.net
Oh and could you possibly enable nested kvm in these?
The virtualization is LXC, so it's not possible.
I made a ticket
sorry it is not possible to provide this passthrough.
We have nesting enabled for docker support if that can work for your use case.
https://webhorizon.net
Can I trial test for 48 hours? I've never worked with LXC before
Your current client.
ok. could you try fixing the yabs error? I opened a ticket like you asked
sure.
I forgot your email, can I please have in PM

Is it just me or the upload got capped around 40mbps?
it's a shared 500 megabit link between like 30 people. ovbiously it's going to be quite slow.

ddos protection triggered I guess.
https://webhorizon.net
@dosai did it improve then?
https://webhorizon.net
Sadly not, still less than 50. Nothing alarming just noted while running yabs 😅

Got mine, work perfectly! Let see how it's when the node is full

Thanks for sharing!
full already now. maybe 1-2 more will provision to this.

From my node (I have the early offer):
iperf3 Network Speed Tests (IPv4): --------------------------------- Provider | Location (Link) | Send Speed | Recv Speed | | | Clouvider | London, UK (10G) | 72.3 Mbits/sec | 5.23 Gbits/sec Online.net | Paris, FR (10G) | 90.5 Mbits/sec | 3.62 Gbits/sec Hybula | The Netherlands (40G) | 101 Mbits/sec | 7.95 Gbits/sec Clouvider | NYC, NY, US (10G) | 12.7 Mbits/sec | 1.76 Gbits/sec Velocity Online | Tallahassee, FL, US (10G) | busy | busy Clouvider | Los Angeles, CA, US (10G) | 10.2 Mbits/sec | 1.14 Gbits/secIt appears that people are really saturating the network for whatever reason. The geekbench looks pretty alright considering it’s a 4-core CPU so that’s not an issue, just the network.
Perhaps it’s something to do with LXC? Unlikely but I guess @Abdullah is the only one who knows
Is this recurring?
Can these be stacked? (kinda need double of the annual spec)
Hey teamacc. You're a dick. (c) Jon Biloh, 2020.
It is recurring
IPv4 & CPU cannot be stacked. Should work for you ?
or can order multiple single ones.

enabled BBR congestion control on host
iperf3 Network Speed Tests (IPv4): --------------------------------- Provider | Location (Link) | Send Speed | Recv Speed | | | Clouvider | London, UK (10G) | 472 Mbits/sec | 5.71 Gbits/sec Online.net | Paris, FR (10G) | 474 Mbits/sec | 4.54 Gbits/sec Hybula | The Netherlands (40G) | 461 Mbits/sec | 8.11 Gbits/sec Clouvider | NYC, NY, US (10G) | 391 Mbits/sec | 1.38 Gbits/sec Velocity Online | Tallahassee, FL, US (10G) | busy | busy Clouvider | Los Angeles, CA, US (10G) | 269 Mbits/sec | 1.07 Gbits/secyou can also get this, by rebooting VM.
verify
sysctl net.ipv4.tcp_congestion_controlIf it outputs bbr congrats you're set.
https://webhorizon.net
congrats your screwed now.
j/k haha hho ha ( @yoursunny laughing sounds )
Did I break something?
https://webhorizon.net
i was just kidding
didn't get a message like "your all set" when adjusting kernel parameters...
btw, you know these thing don't take effect until sysctl -a , or reboot i think.
I got this as output,
net.ipv4.tcp_congestion_control = cubicfinally, speed
https://www.speedtest.net/result/13269312195
now connection is very unstable, rdp keeps on freezing, ssh keeps on kicking me and/or becoming unresponsive
Same here. I did a reinstall, guess I'll wait for a few days for things to settle.
patience is key i suppose. i trust @Abdullah will get everything going nicely like usually
ok it got better now it seems

Me too. I'm in no hurry.
