looking for the best BF/CM dedi deals with at least 2TB of storage in Raid 1.

CPU, not important. (i5 or better)
Europe or east coast USA is prefered for latency
gbit would be nice but 100mbit I could live with at the right price.

I am looking for the sort of pricing that would make me shake my head at the person asking for it at any other time of the year.

You can't compare Hetzner network with OneProvider, but I think these auction dedis seem a bit high at the moment. Are those including VAT? They usually drop to as low as €22 +VAT.

yes that screenshot is including VAT. but still they went cheaper back in the days. oneprovider offer seems tasty but I still wouldn't touch them with a pole.

they have a reputation to be a nightmare to deal with, allowing orders on things that they have no stock on then refusing refunds and terrible man in the middle support. basically all the issues you get with resellers but on a large scale.

Actually I've not had a bad experience (so far!) at all. I have one of those smallish Atoms and it's just worked. No hardware issues so far and I've only had to ask for an IPv6 allocation (they don't provide it automatically like Online.net does for whatever reason but they give you the same DUID that Online does - so it's just them fronting the process). It was not slow or anything. Granted I've not faced any serious hardware issues so far.

I previously had a server with Online (directly) that had some issues with the disks. Rather than swap the disks, they asked me to migrate to a new (same class) machine because of some odd reason. They were quite prompt and courteous with a generous 1 week (or more) overlap between the 2 servers to help me migrate data etc.

On the whole only pleasant experiences for me (but very limited of course!).
