Welcome to the family The only hassle/thing to remember with Keepsolid is that if you added 5 devices (or your max. device count) you have to login to User Area to delete a device if you want to add a new one. You can delete only 1 per 7 days. But that's normally not a problem. I once bought an upgrade since it still became a hassle with Family and my devices so I can have 10 devices now.

Nah, a device is strictly speaking an active device. I can use the same certificate on multiple devices as long as they're not simultaneously connected. Since I run most of my stuff in Docker I can just spin up an OpenVPN client container and route a bunch of applications over it's network, utilizing only 1 "device".

Worst case I can setup a VLAN on my router and have my router act as 1 single device for all the devices I have at my place.

Then again, I don't plan on using it much and at select devices.

Back then it wasn't I bought VPNUnlimited in 2016 and upgraded shortly after. Also, too much a hassle :P

The maximum I was able to measure was a bit less than 400 Mbps.. I guess that should be sufficient for most cases

Ivacy keeps disconnecting after 59 minutes, 55 seconds. Mac App and iOS app, India (Chennai) or Singapore. I gave up after a week. VPN unlimited has proven to be solid for me.

Ivacy is great for geo-unlbocking and I still prefer it because (also when travelling, or at a friends') it's just super easy to login and get started given the 5 concurrent device policy as opposed to VPNUnlimited Policy where you have to first remove a device. That being said VPNUnlimited is overall way more stable and faster than Ivacy.. and Netflix unblocking also just works

Probably only to the end of month. Our family home usually shows 400GB data per month. I can't imagine myself reaching this number any time soon. Going with that I believe 900GB is more than reasonable for "private use". Running the VPN on a VPS and torrenting 24/7 is probably not the ideal use case for a consumer grade VPN although you could still do a lot with 900GB a month. I guess you could also open a ticket/contact them about this. Never had a problem so far, probably also because I never reached the limit remotely.

I hear ya, although most VPN that offer LTDs will have a similar clause.

Ivacy does not limit bandwidth or data usage per user; however the use of service is subjected to fair usage. Creating automated or manual VPN sessions in a manner that would impersonate a bot or exerting excessive load on the network that may disturb other users on the network, or utilizing substantially excessive bandwidth that exceeds the average user bandwidth usage for an extended duration etc., all will be considered as unfair usage of the network. Ivacy doesn't name a limit but I'd rather have 900GB of quality BW from VPNUnlimited than "unlimited" (non defined) by Ivacy's not so great bw/stability. Furthermore, it says "bw reduced" with VPNUnlimited Fair Use Policy so I wouldn't even care so much. Probably limiting to maybe 20-50 Mbit/s. Any of that would still be fine if the limit only applies till the rest of the month. If that happens it's just "normal"/non-heavy usage till the rest of the month.

Update: I contacted VPNUnlimited support regarding the 900GB/month FUP and they said the following:

Your connection speed may drop to 5 Mbit/s, or it may not drop at all.

Throttling only lasts until the end of month though. Sounds fair enough to me. If they want LTD users pushing more than 900GB/month I think that is still a reasonable limit. I also see no problem when they don't limit regular monthly/yearly paying customers since they pay much more than us LTD ppl who purchased for 15-40$ lifetime. With 5 Mbit/s you can still watch YouTube in HD and browse normally On my 1 Mbit/s O2 Telefonica (mobile phone isp) throttle I can even watch YouTube, Netflix and Twitch.

I can vouch for this, as I was also able to watch movies at 1080p on Prime Video with a cap of 5 Mbit/s set by me for the TV.

There was no delay during the movie. I think 5 Mbit/s is considered the bare minimum now a days for most cases.

It's a general idea ( not really related to VPN) ,

I setup a separate WLAN on my main router with the above said limit and isolated it from my LAN.

The Prime Video app on my TV ( Not Android TV) does not have the option to change or set bandwidth usage limit ( Maybe on most ? ) like as on the Web / Smartphone Version.

I have a lowend legacy plan with my cable ISP, Great speed and stable but monthly FUP ( And cost ) is very less.
