    I think this voting system can work, but we will need to learn and calibrate how selective we are going to be so that decisions are made faster.

    I predict user will be mostly an inactive deal shopper. Is that something that should be approved? I think people don't know yet. As a result, 23 and counting people have voted without any agreement.

    I voted no because I think that's probably what we're going for, but idk.

    To me it seems fine with 1 caveat, I think we need to require an introduction post before anyone sees the thread.

    I support this. Lots of forums do this. Create a thread and introduce yourself BEFORE they gain access. Once you open a dedicated thread, lets discuss the details there.
