Hello Mr. Richard! It's nice to meet you!
(Richard is usually shortened to Dick... dont ask me why. White people are weird!)

I speak fluent sarcasm and broken logic. | I would agree with you, but thæn we’d both be wrong.

    Things are progressing....

You can now check the status of the nodes (using hetrix tools) at status.fossvps.org

Still plenty of 'availability' for a free VPS if you are an Open Source developer, just send me a PM. Choose between Bucharest, Moldova or the UK and get 2C, 4GiB and 64GiB HDD with NAT and IPv6 FREE all courtesy of our great donors Hosteroid, Alexhost and Onlyservers.

  • Why I can't view https://fossvps.org/ now? It shows "504 Gateway Time-out". Also I have to access to my apache default page.

@globalone Because I had to move website away from uk1 (which shuts down on 25th). Had some issues but all working now.
Do not know what you mean ' Also I have to access to my apache default page' ?

Thank you! It's really alive again. It was a type error, shall read this way: "' Also I have ###no### access to my apache default page'".

@globalone as far as no access to your apache default page - you make it very difficult to diagnose an issue without any details.
You are on a NAT server with ports forwarded to your VM as detailed in your email.
If you put your apache server on one of those ports e.g. 48091 then accessing http:// < node > .fossvps.org:48091 will connect to your server. Alternatively you could use NPM to point your domain directly to your VPS without changing apache port.

edit - had to reformat because < and > characters cause issues.

Thank you! I have no experiences with NAT, because in the past I use other techniques to solve the IPv6 to IPv4 conversion.

  • Why I can't ssh to my VPS today? Suspended or deleted only after one day's use? I have nothing installed there, except a web server, ftp server, mysql and php.. What's wrong with the system?
