Too bad for bandwidth... It takes time to move 9TB at 200Mbps But it's cheap !

I'm using nested virtualization in production (KVM-in-KVM) I don't see any performance issues. I haven't tested it for applications that are very, very sensitive to the slightest latency. But it seems to work well for many uses.

(Quote) Sorry, I posted it on the other forum too. Next time I transfer a wonderful offer it will be LES exclusive!

(Quote) Agree and disagree. Yes, technically, if IPv4 addresses were better used, we'd potentially have enough IPv4 addresses for services that really need a dedicated IP. But that's not the case today, as ips subnets are distributed. It's too late …

(Quote) Agree. Big changes only happen under duress. Especially since it doesn't provide immediate value for companies. Some don't make the effort because it costs them more than it brings in. They prefer to pay for IP addresses, which used to be f…

The best thing is not to start doing it. It's a very saturated market. If you don't know what added value you're going to bring. Then you're likely to go bankrupt within 2 years. It's tough, but that's what I think.

(Quote) It's not the same price range. I'm not saying that it's not worth investing a little more. But most of the providers mentioned don't / rarely make offers on LES / LET. Thanks for the list though. :)

(Quote) Maybe you can name a few? I can think of a few, but not that many. In fact it doesn't necessarily bother me that a provider uses proprietary software that is fairly common in the industry. Let's just say that their core business isn't neces…

(Quote) Any other provider could have been affected. I seriously doubt that all low-cost providers have the resources to audit all the plugins they use. On the other hand, what I would have appreciated was a brief communication to report the incide…

I've also received a message concerning the hack from letbox. I didn't intend to renew my services because of the lack of communication, now I'm hesitating.

(Quote) "Release the PI" This leads directly to the question of when offer will be released. Do you know what implicit means ? I can't believe I have to justify myself. Someone who criticizes the quality of my replies and takes the opport…

I don't think it's easy to measure the reliability of a hard drive. Because power on hours isn't enough. You also need the amount of data read / written. But even that's not enough. Because depending on the type of data stored, if it's large data s…

(Quote) Not quite. With this reply, I ask for news on the status of his plan to offer raspberry PI. He is working on a project to host them at high density. And that I'll be a customer as soon as I don't have to send the hardware, but when I can ren…

Release the PI ! :) If the offer was in Europe, I'd send my equipment. But in this case that would mean ordering from Amazon US. And the kits are not assembled. So too complicated!

(Quote) Nope :s I've only had good luck with the ssd. 1000 / 1000 IPv6 - 100 / 1000 IPv4 (up / down) Anyway IPv6 is the way to go

I have one with 2 x 960GB SSD. These servers are dope Just take it! You can transfer server without support team. You just have to change contacts associated with the server: admin / billing / technical You have to do it in several steps, which isn…
