@imok You can reach me via Discord (user qps) if that's helpful, or you can open a sales ticket here if you don't have Discord.

(Quote) In some locations, yes, power costs have gone up, but it's typically a very small part of the overall increase. Most of the increase from colo providers is going straight to profit.
-
(Quote) Yes, DM me to discuss.

It's not just memory and storage prices that have gone up. Data center costs have skyrocketed in the past year, even in data centers not well-suited for AI workloads. After years of being a buyer's market in colo, it's now a seller&…

@imok Why did you choose Dallas to begin with? Where are you located?

(Quote) If that exact config doesn't work, let me know.

(Quote) Thanks @alexguyenne for the order. We've upgraded your bandwidth!

Ashburn - Dual Xeon E5-2620v2, 128GB RAM, 240GB SSD, 50TB on 1G Port, /31 IPv4, /64 IPv6 on request $59.99

"Out of stock" should be the 2026 meme. It's not fun sourcing hardware right now.
-
(Quote) Thanks for the order - we have upgraded your SSD and bandwidth!

Since this post seems to be getting some attention now, if @AnthonySmith or anyone else is interested in this offer with a 500GB SSD instead of the now 240GB SSD, order the server with a 240GB SSD and then update this post with your invoice number a…

(Quote) Thanks for the order. It has been updated.

(Quote) This offer was originally posted in September 2025. Unfortunately, the state of the hardware market has changed quite a bit since then. We had to update our drive pricing to reflect the new realities of the current market.

(Quote) If your new IP is a QuickPacket-owned IP, we can delegate RDNS to @VirMach on request, he just needs to ticket or DM me on Discord when he has a chance and we can get it setup on our side (and then VirMach needs to set it up on his side).

(Quote) We've had some problems with their routers hanging on to stale routes well after they are no longer announced. If you are seeing something weird with Arelion, it could be related to this issue.

I'm pretty sure that HostBill doesn't allow what you're trying to do. They only allow it if you sell all of the assets of the company associated with the license.
-
@xanado What specs and location are you looking for?
-
(Quote) You can unclench now.

(Quote) Sorry, it got buried down in the list. I'll reply shortly.

LES Exclusive: Double your bandwidth! Order a new server with 50TB, then open a ticket and mention this post. We will increase it to 100TB for free.

(Quote) Yes. NVMe may be available on some configurations, but pricing may be different. DM me or message me on Discord (user: qps) if you'd like to discuss further. Thanks.

(Quote) No. I know Chris Miller, but I've not met the other two.
-
(Quote) I've met him in person. I can confirm it is still the same VirBot @VirMach.
-
(Quote) Sorry, but the best we can offer is the annual pricing listed in the original post. (Quote) Happy to discuss other options by DM or via sales ticket.
-
(Quote) No, sorry. This offer is only available with annual prepay. (Quote) Java-only on the E3-1270v2. The E3-1230v3 is capable of HTML5. (Quote) Yes and yes.
-
(Quote) Managed servers will cost more. If you're serious about wanting a managed server and want to discuss it further, please open a ticket with our sales department.
-
(Quote) We can substitute a 120GB SSD for the 1TB HD. You can request it in the order comments. Only available at time of order - cannot be done later without additional fees. If you want something bigger, please contact us via ticket to discuss.

Fastmail has very stringent send/receive quotas, both hourly and daily, on the $5/user plan. It required upgrading to the $9/user plan to get more reasonable limits, but the limits are still easy to hit doing normal stuff.

(Quote) We went through this and I think ElRepo has packages to re-enable the cards. kmod-megaraid_sas I believe. It's been a while since I had to work on one of these.

(Quote) Some people like IPs that are easy to remember. For instance, one of our subnets is 199.101.101.x and another is 199.233.233.x. We had a customer who was obsessed with 199.101.101.101 and 199.233.233.233. Not important to me, but I told h…
