Yep, opened a ticket about the reinstall failure and asked for ipv6 as well.
Got a /48 attached, added the config manually and it works.

It is in Nuremberg, most of the IPv4 databases are just wrong. You can check it in the traceroute. For example, here is a traceroute to 1.1.1.1:

Advin Servers Nuremberg --> Cloudflare 1.1.1.1

You can see that the first hop is through Nuremberg, and then to Munich.

The reason why the latency is higher to Hetzner is because I believe they will try to route you through Frankfurt and then back for whatever reason. We don't use their transit, instead we have an XC to another provider in the building. We are working on a system to route certain traffic over our Hetzner port (such as internal traffic, I believe it is already enabled over IPv6, so you might see <1ms latencies over that), but we have not yet rolled it out to IPv4 due to port limitations. We have also looked in getting onto N-IX (Nuremberg IX) but they are a little expensive and we don't push much traffic to the carriers on there.
