I just want to clarify that I am NOT Blake. I have had a small handful of people in PMs accusing me of fraud. We are not in any way associated with this incident.
We just can't take your word for it, send me your bank statements and a picture of your wife and I'll verify this for the community!
Will do. I'm not sure if Nationwide has the option to download a statement with immediate effect, they're generated monthly - but I can send screenshots of everything. I haven't got a wife lol.
No wife...... hmmmmmm that's what someone hiding their wife would say!

Whether you're being sarcastic or not, I want to show I've got nothing to do with it because there are people that think otherwise.

Don't worry about weirdos on the Internet, including myself! Apologies if the wife verification part wasn't clear I was joking 🤣

I'm just amazed that people are handing over CCs with 1000+ capacity in an industry full of deadpools
Use a prepaid card or paypal or something lol
Legally, I believe you are entitled to your money back in case something like this happens.
It really depend upon your banking partner and its regulations . In India if you fucked like this then bank will say that's your fault and nothing can be done just file a case to IT Cybercrime department.
Do not generalize. There is a INR 50 K “not your fault” kind of cap on my card. Small change but that’s nearly 600 US dollars at current rate.
There is a sub limit, that is, per transaction is 18 or 20 K, and once ler financial year. They may lower the cap if they have already paid you once.
Depends on the credit card, and bank. Get cybersecurity insurance they will cover upto INR 700,000 for 10 K/yr.

I tend to use Revolut's disposable virtual cards for (unkown) LE hosts, whenever PayPal isn't an option.
If Paypal is not an option, I will not be a customer of that provider
Same. Not accepting PayPal is a red flag. There may be a few rare exceptions but generally speaking I use this to guide me.
And accepting PayPal as the only payment gateway is also a red flag, or at least that's what people say... I try to use PP the bare minimum as many other hosts do.

Sounds like something a boomer would say. PP as a customer is the safest payment method. Anyone who can't accept PayPal is dodgy.

Quite literally proof that you can genuinely not trust anyone, ever.
Blake Shepard used to run a pirated licencing website which sold cPanel licences and all of that and ModuleGardens plugins that were pirated - at one point they were free. He has worked with Ryder who has owned GhostyHost and VelocityNodes in the past.
Though, after gaining enough traction he attempted to sell it off, which Ryder fully paid for (an apparent 2.7K USD), and then he just disappeared without actually giving Ryder full access over the service, evidently scamming him.
I am fairly sure Samuel Borril has also worked with him in the past before getting backstabbed and then his Discord account token logged where Blake took one of his server from him.
He's previously gone under the names "MVP", "Palpatine" and "Subs".
He's also ran EU0.co.uk (which, you guessed it, deadpooled). As well he ran MCFreeHosting, not sure what happened there but from what I can tell he was scamming then too and this was a few years back.
People don't change.

Not if you live in a third world country. Here once a card transaction is completed, it's done. Fraudulent or not, the bank does not care. You can only block the card completely by announcing it as stolen or lost and pay for a new one And wait for a month or two to get a new one.

UpCloud free $25 through this aff link - Akamai, DigitalOcean and Vultr alternative, multiple location, IPv6.
Interesting. That would also explain why he wanted to get ID from customers to "verify" them on his shithosting.
