    I have a one-time offer, just for you.

    If you would like me to stop swearing on LES, simply reply to this post with the word ‘Stop’, and you will not see further profanity from me or my associated accounts. If I do slip-up, I will request that the moderators retire all my accounts immediately.

    stop

    The offer wasn't made to you. You've incurred a penalty as a result.

    Charge him $ 5 or better yet... $ 800 (A la Virmach!)

    I've set the 8-core C2750 to be cancelled at end of billing period. Too slow.
    Strangely, my cheapo Scaleway 2-core Atom runs OK with Nextcloud. Of course it's not fast but doesn't need to be.
    Oh well, nothing ventured, nothing gained and I'll keep the OneProvider 2-core Atom as the PBS, which will end up being cheaper than what it was, after 3-4 months (due to setup fee).

    In stasis until the shitposting stops/abates.
    Than=compare;then=sequence:brought=bring;bought=buy:staffs=pile of sticks:informations/infos=no plural.
    It wisnae me! A big boy done it and ran away. || NVMe2G for life! until death (the end is nigh).

    YEAH BOYYEEEEEEE!

  • Stay at OVH.

    The processor is superior, one of the best ddos protections, and probably your download can exceed 1g in SYS in this configuration, only the upload is limited. I have an e3-1270v6 that receives 10G download and only upload limited to 250mbps.

    There are also cheaper ips on SYS.

    It’ll be something involving beans. That’s as much as you’re getting.

    Hmm, ext4 or zfs raid1 for proxmox on this new D-1531, 32gb server?

  • @Amadex said: ext4 or zfs raid1 for proxmox

    ext4 for the OS and zfs for your VMs (and data).

  • @Amadex You influenced me to get the same box. Pretty good deal for 2TB SSD.
