[INCEPTION HOSTING] Modeprobe issues whilst installing UFW and enabling it.[RESOLVED]

I am having problems on all three of the [INCEPTION HOSTING] 256MB servers that I recently purchased.
NL 95.46.198.25
US 104.161.79.98
UK 185.164.136.112
On all three servers I have attempted to install UFW and allow port 22. All goes fine until I enable UFW.

[email protected]:~# ufw allow 22

I've run this on Ubuntu 18, 16 and Debian 10, with the same issues.

Not had any issues with MrVM locations using same OS.

Inception Hosting - we surveyed 100 people and asked them what a fat husband may hide from his wife in his belly button, the 3rd most popular answer was: "Jewelry"

  • @AnthonySmith If I had only waited 30mins =)

    Great thanks ;)
I can confirm it works, I have just checked.

I wonder how many people having a generic issue over the next few years will google it, arrive here, read that KB, then run touch /option.netfilter and report it did not fix anything.

If you are that person in the future... hello and welcome from the past, I wonder who won the 2019 UK general election.

option.netfilter is specific to Inception Hosting, it is a work around for VZ7 (Virtuozzo 7) containers running under solusvm due to limitations within SolusVM's ability to write anything to container config files that gives you access to the required kernel modules to run certain things.

It was reported, acknowledged, given a reference for development, no idea when it will no longer be an issue, but rather than wait, this was the solution I came up with.

@Amitz is from the future, he knows what @WSS is up to next, even before him.
