Ympker's Shared/Reseller Hosting Comparison Chart
I know you've all been waiting for this
Given that I can see many providers/members joining here in the future and it will make easier tagging them and update the chart, I'll leave this here, too.
Original post:
So since it's always kind of a hassle to ask/search for the resource limits of Shared/Reseller Providers I have made a public accessible Google Doc where you can compare providers resource limits, Backups (yes/no), LiteSpeed(yes/no) for Shared Hosting and Reseller plans as well as Disk Space & Price. I have also listed coupons that I know can be used with certain hosts. This will be updated whenever I have time and motivation to do so. Feel free to request hosts to be added and/or tag your favourite provider to PM me the limits so I can add them :P

In that regard, any updates @HostDoc on shared/reseller plans? Iirc you wanted to ping me once they are "fixed"

Would be nice to list locations too.
Hey teamacc. You're a dick. (c) Jon Biloh, 2020.
Sure. Please PM me what you need and I'll shoot the info over.

Well Hello @HostDoc
Nice to see you :-)
Nice to see you too. And all the other familiar faces usernames

Updated the chart with @HostDoc new information
Good to see you added NVMe for the Reseller now, too. Shared being priced higher than Reseller is..interesting. Probably because the Reseller plans I listed are RB (Reseller Budget) plans?
Ympker's VPN LTD Comparison, Uptime.is, Ympker's GitHub.
No. It is because of the panels in use.
Shared hosting is still using cpanel. Reseller is direct admin. The prices simply reflect the overheads for each service.
Thanks for updating

Ah, gotcha. Didn't pay attention hehe

@HostDoc When I compare the offers on your homepage they are different than the packages on @Ympker’s list. All sold out though. What’s up with that?
@debaser The plans on our homepage was our budget range before cpanel price hike. After the implementation, we could no longer offer those plans and put them oos.
Our regular starter, e-commerce and enterprise are all that remain and can be found in the clientarea store for now.

Ah, very clear!
@Ympker Could you list them according to their price, from low to high( as we all like it )
Also add @SmallWeb 's recent LowEndSpirit Exclusive
You can copy, edit and sort on your own. Now it is listed by provider, which I think is also fine.

@Rahul
I'd rather keep it like that, too. You can sort it according to your liking as @poisson mentioned. This list is not meant to be the biggest list, but a reliable one having the providers in the focus along with their specs.

It wouldn't be exclusive then would it
Michael from DragonWebHost & OnePoundEmail
Price may be more dynamic/tweaked more frequently than plans. Then the spreadsheet will have to be remodelled after serverhunter but for shared hunting.
Then the name sharedhunter or worse hosthunter will cause more confusion.
And so opens another Pandora's box.

It's fine as it is. I wanted to point you to OP but I believe I only explained this in LET. This is not meant to offend anyone or be a dick but the reason why I created this list is to have a list of personal favourites where I could blindly turn to when shit hits the fan. I choose to make it publicly accessible but it won't be turning into anything like Serverhunter. It'll continue to be my favourite list and I'll update and make changes when I feel it's something that would cause me less trouble deciding and ultimately saves me time. Expanding a small list with more and more features doesn't save me time.

You elaborated well what I hinted at

Which of these run MailChannels or any other email relay service?
I don't do anything with domain related e-mails, really. Maybe @MikePT @SmallWeb @Francisco can chime in regarding their service

We do run MailChannels ?
nvm

Good stuff. FYI, RamNode doesn't do Jetbackup anymore. They use Acronis instead.
Figured that little detail might be important to some people
Thanks for mentioning that, mate
I plan on updating all the details some time in August, when exams are over

You took HostMantis off the list? @Ympker
It was back then due to the pricing PR stunt. In terms of performance and reliability and features as well as support they are probably still the best shared hosting provider I have encountered
Haven't updated this list in a while.

@Ympker thoughts on MisterHost?
Back when I used them I had no problems with them. I realize there is some post about them on the OGF atm and while I haven't read everything 100%, it seems like both parties are making things more difficult than they would need to be. As far as my personal experience with them goes, I can recommend their service. 29 Tickets solved to my satisfaction in that times. Had quite some services with them

Interesting
I/O isn't the highest after tasting HostMantis to be fair, but for the prices I paid (see invoices), I always got the performance I needed. Clients didn't complain. They are hosting with OVH afaik. Lack of daily backups, higher I/O and some other features of HM made me move away from them, ultimately. Not a problem or dispute or the like.

Interesting. Did you do anything with the Alpha Reseller Hosting? Also - UNLIMITED cPanels for $7/month? Seems off. Maybe just me.
I didn't end up using it much. By then I ended up realizing I am not that much a fan of the big Alpha Master reseller idea. Even though I might have offered reseller with it for a while iirc. When I was with them the old cPanel pricing was still in place, I think. So I really didn't deal much with cPanel acc limits.

MisterHost's cheapest plans are all "sold out" and the prices listed are the prices for 3 years...
Seems like a lot has changed. I have no active service with them so I can't vouch for anything that is going on right now or might have changed. Just talking about my time there
I talked on the phone to the owner of MisterHost though, before?! ordering with them back then iirc. We had a longer chat since he is from Austria and I thought he was quite the good guy. Maybe this is one of the reasons why I mysteriously end up recommending MisterHost despite all odds other ppl may be seeing.

Thanks @Ympker
I created an Index page on my blog for shared hosting that I have tried. See some overlaps here, so might borrow generously from @Ympker list (with due credit of course)

Sure thing mate

Full disclaimer, I have not tried misterhost ever. But after reading the other forum, it seems like the guy paid for 3 years of service, and was told to pay an extra $7/month 17 months (?) into the 3 years because of cpanel price hikes. Unlimited cpanel accounts sound nice, but in reality they expect most people not to have so many accounts to the point they make a loss.
If you were considering misterhost only because of the promise "unlimited"... Sorry bud.
Unlimited cPanel account offers are bound to vanish over time.

very nice
Ooft. Back when I was offering 2-5MB/s I/O and 20EP. Now it's 5-50MB/s I/O and 25-30EP.
Also mostly have OLS now
Michael from DragonWebHost & OnePoundEmail
Are you running OLS across your hosting servers? How you finding using OLS with users and the .htaccess limitations?
Most but not all. Had two reports about broken htaccess rules so reverted the servers those were on. Need time to research the consistency difference for those cases. Otherwise it's great and I have no issues (apart from needing to set up a cron).
Michael from DragonWebHost & OnePoundEmail
I think most .htaccess stuff works in OpenLiteSpeed as well, these days(?)
Only mod_rewrite rules are directly supported in .htaccess, for example you can’t set HTTP headers they need to be set using a context block.
Sorry to derail the thread @Ympker.
