What do you think of Proxmox plugins?

Hi
I recently came across a modification for Proxmox, named Dockers for PVE.
https://github.com/GDLev/Dockers-for-PVE
As a homelabber it seems like a great idea, and it would be nice to have docker containers in the same ui as the vms or lxc, but it just feels wrong to mod proxmox, and there is no way i could ever install it in a production environment.
Im curious what you guys have to say about it
