Low End Dedicated Server Share, Vint Hill, Virginia, USA

Friendly greetings!

MetalVPS now has a new Low End dedicated server, an OVH SYS-LE-1.

From shell accounts on this server, we can

  • work directly on the bare metal,
  • make our own KVM VPSes with almost any operating system, and
  • make several kinds of containers.

Of course, we also can directly see how well the server node is performing.

Last, but not least, we can enjoy fun conversations right here in this thread!

Let's try!

Best wishes!

Tom

    Are you https://huggingface.co/zhiqing0205 ?

    Best wishes!

  • Pretty cool! My friends and I do this in a way. We have one large storage server and we each have our own user and allocated space. The server is paid quarterly and we split the bill accordingly.

@frodothebearer Thanks for your kind words! Best wishes to you and your friends and your shared server! :)

  • Hello, very cool. Didnt you have netbsd server already also?

I could try just for fun to test how this works from here Finland. Could try to run some small docker just for testing.
