(Quote) Someone here had a tutorial on how to do it, sorry I don't have the link, maybe @Ympker has it? But you can just add it to your grub2 menu and boot from there, and no problems loading the ISO on RAM since you have plenty of. EDIT: take…

(Quote) LXC yes, I haven't tested them though, but Debian 11 is working fine for me (I'll probably have to reinstall to get 12 since it's probably going to break if I manually upgrade). KVM nope. Still those old Debian and Ubuntu ima…

@Ympker thanks for the tag =) hopefully we can get some niche discount for lifetime VPSs, I'll get a KVM one this time forsure, or maybe 2 :open_mouth:

(Quote) Easiest IMO is just https://ipinfo.io/IP (e.g https://ipinfo.io/1.1.1.1)

you know my feedback and what I want :p (Spoiler)

(Quote) I must admit that normal price is actually insanely high. But Estonia is not really that much of a common location by any means. RETN transit is also quite premium. I only have 2 other EE VPSs with different providers and HostSlim is by far …

(Quote) It's still an old Xeon, AMS-PROMO has EPYC :p but yeah, I've known about that offer for a while but never gave it a try since I kind of avoid these weird hosts that tunnel everything through some other location. Aéza was kind of …

(Quote) It likely still is, but they removed all their announced subnets, though bgp.he.net still shows Aeza as a peer. Some screenshots: (Image) (Image) From the Wayback Machine (Image) Their subnets: 77.105.132.0/24 77.105.133.0/24 77.105.1…

(Quote) ruvps/uavps.net = scammers, beware.

(Quote) yup my bad, just found out too. Dunno heard some drama as to why rename Terrahost to Gigahost due to its popularity and SEO and that stuff so figured out they just renamed.
-
(Quote) So now you're interested in all of this getting deleted? just crazy...

(Quote) I'm not much into it, i missed it sorry :'(

(Quote) I don't care about the quote, you're an annoying fan.

you literally have a quote from @sh97 as your LET signature, whilst constantly trashing his lowend deals page (even if he's not even participating in that discussion). You deserved to be banned a while ago for several things, and I'm not t…

(Quote) I'm not much into it, but I've heard they're the same, just that Terranode renamed to Gigahost.

@gigahost make it happen :p

(Quote) With 10GB space it will be rough, but possible. Wouldn't it be easier with netboot.xyz? I assume W10 or W2019 would be able to run and install on RAM with 4GB. Or perhaps DD a ready image.

(Quote) dashserv.io is also in the future, so be careful! (Image)

(Quote) For that price honestly either deal with it or try contacting them for a custom payment method (most likely with a lot of fees) Or use a CC middle man.

(Quote) Cause Hetzner Finland is literally 12-14ms away from there. (Image) Compared to Hetzner Falkenstein And Hetzner Nuremberg (Image)

(Quote) Explain to me the 14ms to Tallberg.

(Quote) Zap-Hosting uses combathon (aurologic) in Finland, I have a VPS with them there.

(Quote) Dunno what they exactly do with their anycasted setup, but it's wild that they've been able to lie about it for soo long without many people noticing. Even some geoip companies that claim to do traceroutes to find the real location…

(Quote) It's called Russia for your information. I'm neutral, so shut up. evps.cloud (AS51264) (e.g ruvps.net & uavps.net) Limewave (If you've been active on the OGF then you know who they are) Calling them "ruzzia" &am…

(Quote) My experience with Ukranian-based & US-based hosts is way worse. Been years with multiple Russian-based hosts. None of them have scammed me, like the ones mentioned above.

(Quote) A more in depth article covering the same. https://www.qurium.org/alerts/exposing-the-evil-empire-of-doppelganger-disinformation/ It's actually wild the amount of hosting companies I've been unaware to be involved in all of this L…

(Quote) It is also used by lethost (Image) At this point I hope their main Aéza brand doesn't get involved in any of this, but seeing all of those ASNs are using their main ASN as an upstream, ...

(Quote) I kept 500 Mbps since I didn't really need much. Since they have a 5 TB limit, I would assume they would at least give 1 Gbps but it's whatever I guess. Their support is friendly, and they actually try to help you. They also treat…

(Quote) Yup, still enjoying this LXC lifetime in Finland. Also very happy that their network there is slowly getting better, because it was actually not great before, neither is now, but way better. Apart from a few initial hiccups (support needs t…
