(Quote) Almost all providers have the ban hammer hanging on top of you when it comes to high CPU usage on a shared core. The few exceptions are major cloud providers, BuyVM, and Evolution Host. I'd rather to be permanently throttled to whateve…

Users will post drama threads in the forums, so that it's unnecessary to have a help desk. In fact, when Inception first started offering NAT services, users were told to ask questions in the forum; opening a ticket would trigger a £2 charge. …

I only have one EUserv VS2-free. It's so slow that interactive use is painful. Batching processing speed (push-up video encoding) is comparable to Oracle Cloud. A strange thing is, sometimes CPU model changes. I've seen both Xeon E3 and E…

(Quote) Neither Warsaw nor Singapore has good connection to China, so MJJs shouldn't be buying these in the first place. You could reopen orders for IPv6-only service though: no IPv4 at all, only IPv6. It's useful for websites behind Clou…

KVM NAT plans are discontinued 🧐 The category no longer exists on the order form. What is 30% extra IPv6? Normally it's one /64 prefix, so 30% more address space would be: * one /64 * one /66 * one /69 * one /70 * one /73 * one /74 * and so…

In 2000-May, I installed TurboLinux 4.01 on the family computer. The installation CD comes from 《PC任我行》 (PCDIY) magazine that I subscribed to. I spent lots of time figuring out LILO to make it boot Windows 98 by default. I didn't get beyon…

To close the thread, you just need to write on its own line: /thread If nobody else replies, the thread auto-closes after some time.

"an dedicated server" is not skint. It should be "a dedicated server". https://www.grammar.com/a-vs-an-when-to-use/

(Quote) Will you release 10x10x10 in Singapore? Another provider has hinted $15 KVM NAT 1GB in Singapore coming next week, but I don't want to take that and then kick myself when 10x10x10 drops.

If WordPress gets a category, Virtualizor and IPv6 and push-ups (the video technology, not the meme) should get their categories too.

(Quote) My guess is an improperly configured ebtables. If SolusIO somehow thinks the server has only /128, it would configure ebtables like that. I don't see /80 displayed anywhere. Oracle Cloud and KTS24 and MetalVPS have similar issues, to a…

Crazy pricing or not, Hosterlabs IPv6 setup is broken. /80 is false advertising: you can only use a single address (/128). It isn't possible to assign any other address: they are not routable. I got my freebie back (after being suspended for 6…
