(Quote) Yes, $4/year. (I meant to write it but forgot) Now my best paid VirmAche plan is: * Miami FL * 1920MB RAM * 45GB diks * 1000GB monthly bandwidth * $8.88 per year
-
(Quote) You can buy the 4GB plan directly, for EUR 48 every two years. https://my.server-factory.com/cart/vds-nl-amd-epyc/

Once in a time I had this VirmAche deal: * Buffalo NY * 384MB RAM * 22GB diks * 100GB monthly bandwidth I tried to transfer out in 2021-Oct but the service expired before transfer ticket was tended to, and I had to refound the buyer.

(Quote) How can someone else steal your account without having access to your 2FA device or backup code? Can they ask the provider to delete it? Lose 2FA => lose account permanently

I got around the setup the IPv6 /64 prefix. It seems that only the xxxx::1 address is usable. Other addresses (e.g. xxxx::2) are blocked. There's nothing seen on tcpdump if I ping such address from outside.

(Quote) This means 200% CPU usage for 10 hours per day. $15/month isn't enough at professional providers. You'd better buy a $200~300 desktop (or reuse your old laptop) and host it on-premise, using your existing Internet connection.

(Quote) If the wooden rack burns down, users can always place their credit on another location. If user creates Romania instance, is it DMCA ignored and pubic tracker allowed, just like regular iHostART service?

(Quote) Only one IPv6? Industry standard is /64 subnet. Premium providers have routed subnet.

(Quote) It's a refurbished mini desktop for $300 one time. There's no recurring marginal cost. The processor is Intel Core i5-6700T. (Quote) Redo the setup with a script every time from a clean machine, which eliminates stopped storage c…

Nowadays, I encode my push-ups with an on-premise machine that has 4 Skylake cores. I can use the cores at 380% without triggering any abuse notices. It's much faster than using a cheap VPS where I have to limit CPU usage to 150% or less. Whil…

@benz hello , please ask for free KVM and setup IPv6 tunnel and have all IPv6 ports
-
(Quote) There will be $12 plans, but they won't have dedicated IPv4.

Ticket 127503 opened. If you can make it a routed /64 prefix (instead of an on-link prefix), you would join the elite group of Routed IPv6 Hall of Fame.

(Quote) Yes, but my remaining credit would provide 20GB disk, and my three suspended VMs only consume 15GB total. (Quote) This is useful in general, not just at suspension. This would enable more use cases: * resize RAM, by deleting instance and c…

(Quote) Suppose I have three VMs, each has 300MB RAM and 5GB disk. Once my first credit expires on Dec 01, the remaining credit can still cover one VM's RAM and three VM's disk. While it's fine to suspend them, I would expect being ab…

Suppose I purchase one credit on Dec 01 and purchase another credit on Dec 11, I would have two credits until Dec 01 next year. Now I create several VMs to use up all resources from the two credits, but each VM is smaller than the resources given by…

(Quote) 2 trillion push-ups per hour equals: * 555555555 push-ups per second * 1.8 nanoseconds per push-up At this speed, your eyes won't be able to see my push-ups.

(Quote) He's trying to fix IPv6. Hold on. You should install qBittorrent as systemd service instead of running it in SCREEN. Reboots won't affect you anymore.

The end is nigh.

(Quote) Container went offline when I'm streaming Young Sheldon, mid episode. This is a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad time, because I'm eager to know the outcome. (Spoiler)

Gullo has IPv6 /80, you have only single address. Gullo has $2 for 256MB deals, you have £3 that is 60% more.

(Quote) I suppose push-ups payment is available for everyone, at least for the first term. Second term, it's a different story, because there's no way to automate.
-
(Quote) Since we are on page 200 now, everyone who already have free SSD2G will receive 200MB extra RAM (for one month) and 200GB extra bandwidth (one time).

It's also available for 11 push-ups. I no longer buy 1GB servers though. (Image)

8 vCPU and 8 GB RAM are perfect for push-ups delivery network. I use the RAM for caching, the more RAM the better. The software containers need up to 8GB disk. The video repository nodes need more disk obviously. Those nodes are 15GB minimum.

(Quote) This is why you should only purchase one server from each provider. There are enough providers for you to sign up.
-
(Quote) No. Provider would be selling 2008-era dedicated core for ridiculous price.

(Quote) MINI VPS spec reduced? Last week it was 8GB disk and €4.99/year.

Plan 2 and 3 offers violate rules: exceed price ceiling.
