The colo deals are 4x hotter than the Premium VPS ?

(Quote) You have summoned a wild jayyesgee. Stop that ?

It's ok. Just delete the ppa's .list file, and purge wireguard-dkms package to be sure. You should then be all set after a dist-upgrade.

(Quote) Sounds like a typical FlightSim game. :p

May I plz have a $120 gently-loved RTX 2060? ?

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 : Challenge accepted.

If you're just using it for rsyncing data over from EU, it should stay just under the limit even with aes encryption via LUKS volume (16-20 MB/sec max throughput right?) Edit: re-read and yes, you should use cpu limit if your ffmpeg jobs are r…

Virtualmin is sysadmin friendly. It doesn't break distro norms. Pass --minimal to the install script for even leaner install. you can disable the unused daemons from the Startup/Shutdown list under webmin tab to make it even leaner.

Running CE for a bunch of self hosted php scripts. Lychee, wp, wallabag

For a second I panicked, thinking it was the awesome mosh by MIT

(Quote) Haha yes. I just said goodbye to my openvz 2 weeks ago. Anyway, I'm sorted for Linux isos via a 2 euro scaleway 1TB.

(Quote) One could just comment out the lines that import the ppa. The script would use the distro package then (same package name) ?

Dallas, NL, SGP would cover the minimum set. DE could be a good supplement to NL in EU.

(Quote) I believe it's more like qemu gets set as default cpu type when installing from iso. Just a simple ticket to 'correct' it

@HostUs edit: @AlexanderM @liteserver @ This is a legit project that could use some love. I was a user until recently.

(Quote) Let me stop you right there and ask : Have you disabled password authentication after adding your public key to authorized_keys file? Second layer might be a fail2ban rule that bans IP for 2-5 days if more than 5 attempts in 30mins. Anothe…

May I ask where this offer was first posted? That may influence those iperfs depending on 'the horde'. (PM me if sensitive)

Well hello my lovely. Those Iperf3 reports make it seem like it's better to use it as a read-cache for content rather than an intermediate backup vps(before sending data to EU) Pros : RAM, new-ish (for low end) Intel CPU. A good general purpo…

I'm with antirez(redis) on this one. It's extremely bad taste to name new projects/objects in 2020 with this terminology. At the same time, forcing expensive refactors of long-existing code bases is some eyeroll-inducing virtue signalling…

Pliss untag me.

Next step : unmetered private networks. ?

(Quote) Exciting, but the dates seem so distant. https://release.debian.org/bullseye/freeze_policy.html Corona casualty, I suppose. If Canonical doesn't sort out their snap store BS policies by then, 16.04 LTS boxes are going straight to bull…

Wait until they launch a chat service with a limit of 20/hr ?

dstat for live peek. vnstat for aggregated statistics.

Happy birthday NB!

(Quote) I believe nyr is referring to the script currently using the ppa as the package source. If you are on one of these supported Ubuntu versions, you just have to remove the .list file corresponding to the wireguard-ppa from /etc/apt/sources.li…

Zilore monitoring. (currently beta for over 1yr) Free after beta if you join now. Excellent results for me.

(Quote) Search for 'DMCA ignored' and decide if they really can keep it up forever. So far, so good though.

OP : How's the routing for you to the maxkvm SGP? If you see over 62ms latency , do send in a mtr - rw yourIP to suppor, so they can address it via their upstream.

(Quote) Storage? Any vps. (public) Distribution? Haha. Say the magic word? sisters Liteserver.nl is fine for copyright (owned by you) adult content, acc to a regular LEx member. Most NL hosts would be fine here too I think.

IOFLOOD Phoenix is listed on the speed test app too as a location.
