Chicago worked well for me.

The space invader animation thing seems to be spiking up my CPU usage. Just an observation.

slowservers.net is probably one of the best hosting provider website that I have seen, very informative and straight to the point and no javascript. I am using older hardware as my primary daily driver (it has only 2GB of RAM), and I do appreciate …

Is there any archive section on the dashboard that I can scroll back to read some of the older announcements?

Contabo object storage has unlimited data transfer and the pricing looks attractive. I have not tried it myself though. https://contabo.com/en/object-storage/

(Quote) That's pretty cool. Let's say if I wanted to do the reverse, to extract the text from your image. Would you happen to know of any simple way to do it on the web browser?
-
@Yunior2001 Maybe you can try to use Tor?

Do you have a looking glass or a test IP?

Hey, for the AMD Compute 2 GB - PROMO-O, would you happen to know what is Hosthatch's general policy about fair share CPU usage? Let's say if I were to run an ad hoc software compilation job and the CPU hits 100% for a few hours, would th…

I've got no idea about "wind control" but maybe you check out Windscribe vpn.

Sorry but I am still a bit confused. From your previous offers: (Quote) As I did not request for a /64 previously, will my "1 Dedicated IPv6 IP" continue to work? Or does it has to be replaced with a /64?
-
I might be wrong, but for a single IPv6 address, the subnet mask should be /128 right?

Here's one from Slackware 14.0, it's a VirtualBox VM from one of my workstations at home. (Image)

The vmstat output shows cpu steal time of around ~25% (st column) Oops, sorry, the ~25% should be the cpu wait time (wa column), there's a slight shift in the column alignment of the vmstat output.
-
Maybe can try running strace/ltrace on the command (first time, second time), and see if there are any significant differences in the outputs.

IPv6 has not been working for my Dallas VPS since the apparent changes to their upstream. I have opened a ticket some time ago but no response. Just wondering if anyone else is having the same issue?
-
It seems that they have changed their upstream from Hivelocity to Zenlayer (for Dallas location).

(Quote) Sorry, I meant to say that the website is not hosted by their own services.
-
I vaguely recall labze had commented somewhere (I am not exactly sure which thread) before that the website is not hosted within hostbrr's network. Maybe it's just some issues with the external webhost.

If I am not wrong, c1vhosting did not have PayPal as an official payment method yet at that point of time (October 2023 as shown on OP's screenshot). I think it might be that the F&F was just an ad hoc alternative payment method via DM for…

FWIW, my VPS with c1vhosting has an uptime of more than 2 months now. I mean, sure, the performance is nothing to shout about, but I feel that I am getting a decent service for the amount that I paid for.

For those who signed up in March 2023 last year, just a friendly reminder that the free tier period is ending soon. Don't forget to delete the instance if you are no longer using it. (I almost forgot about it)

(Quote) I was somewhat caught by surprise too when I discovered that I could not login to the smarthost control panel sometime back in late September. I had to do a password reset to regain access. I didn't recieve any spam mails though.

(Quote) Hey man, so did you manage to get your RAM doubled? If not, I can try to ping him at the other forum (OGF).
