To be fair, while pulling the trigger was kinda caused by FOMO (I was under the impression the lifetime deal had been discontinued months ago and when I was in Valencia I read some techblog that stated Internxt re-activated the LTD for a short time …

(Quote) It didn't help that I bought this deal...in Valencia :) ...explaining my purchase to the gf by "it's a company from Valencia...and storage...and we love Valencia."

(Quote) Probably 1) and LTD fan (also for VPNs as you may know :P ). Regarding 2): nope mostly just idling (I make lifetime deals sustainable for providers by letting them idle so others can benefit lol *jk 3) None of the Lifetime deals I ever bou…

(Quote) This is it, mainly :P And LTD addiction^^ When I bought in a couple weeks ago, I didn't even know that guy was on LE forums. I only found out yesterday.
-
(Quote) Were you referring to their past history? Oh, well.. thanks for the headsup, but I bit the bullet two weeks ago anyway, let's see how it plays out. So far the article on Techcrunch and Venturebeat give me hopes for a better future. I…

(Quote) Yes they are. I bought the 99€ lifetime a couple weeks ago and will likely upgrade today with one more code.

It's 69€ now. @Nekki did it. Or was it @FAT32 . Was quite surprised that the CEO jumped on my thread over there tbh. I just realized they have been a member of LE community since 2016.

For me it was 50$ for 2-3 years (and hopefully many more) using @MikePT lifetime hosting :D Some even might get the small lifetime plan for 10$ which is more than enough for WP :) Props to Mike <3

(Quote) Just don't ;)

(Quote) Haha yeah. You know, I'd love to like them. But somehow it just never worked out. Good to hear you're happy with Web 1000 for email, though :)

(Quote) TL;DR: I tried their web hosting (and "hourly billed VMs") once and wasn't satisfied. Not due to performance, though. They had some annoying issues such as not being able to register with them if your domains' nameservers…

Good luck with sales, mate! :)

(Quote) Wow, that's probably the fastest Speedtest result I've seen from FastestVPN (200 Mbits was the max I experienced). Lookin good :) Definitely a steal for 15-20$ lifetime.

(Quote) FastestVPN browser extension I also occasionally use. Also their Android App actually works for me (but not for everybody it seems?) so I use it for public wifi quite often. Keepsolid Browser Extension is also nice , however counts towards t…

(Quote) Welcome to the Keepsolid club! Seems like I now need to update my spreadsheet with a new LE member :D I'm with them since 2017 and they have been founded in 2013 iirc. Odds are that you'll be able to use them way longer than just …

(Quote) Yeah, they had some kinda "questionable" past, but in the end I was like: Why pay for a sub with them if I can just get Ivacy for lifetime (which is a purevpn reseller) :P Sure, the main brand has some extra features and servers bu…

(Quote) Basically the same reasoning which lead me to stick with Keepsolid after cancelling my NordVPN sub back in 2017. Ivacy, FastestVPN and Windscribe lifetime subs are just the result of me being a LTD VPN hoarder. Windscribe has some nice extra…
-
(Quote) Well, if it's a simple solution you need, Keepsolid got you covered. Also works on all common devices (even has a Linux GUI client) and should check all regular boxes. Then again, if NordVPN works for you and continuing to pay for a ye…

(Quote) I think the reason many people (including me) use a VPN is, among other things, access to various (geo-)locations. Sure, as far as encryption is concerned you can get a 256-512MB RAM VPS and @Nyr script for OVPN/Wireguard and you're goo…
-
@Lee if you wanna check my signature you'll find that there are plenty Keepsolid users among the LE* community. Grabbing it for 40$ one-time or even with discount may just be worth a try :) Just no double-vpn or tor over vpn here, if that'…

I replaced NordVPN for VPN Unlimited/Keepsolid Lifetime sub back in 2017 and haven't looked back. Back then, there was quite a big thread on Reddit about some backdoor spying hidden in NordVPN's client. Couldn't find it with a quick G…

(Quote) I agree. I love inspiration like this. Ml-workspace setup is what I'll probably give a try soon :)

Currently 1 Virtualbox VM running ZorinOS at home for dev stuff :)
