CloudFlare practically dominates this space and incredibly difficult to compete with but I do think that competition is always a good thing.

Upgrading was a breeze across a whole cluster of servers. I'm usually the guy who waits at least a few weeks before doing upgrades like this but we had a relatively new cluster sitting around so it made sense.

I think a key feature for tools like this is distributed checks i.e. are the uptime checks being done from a single point or from multiple geographically separated points? A failure in your own systems could trigger downtime alerts for your users if…
