(Quote) The E3 has ECC ram, Ryzen supports it but it's an aditional 5EUR/month. Plus the setup fee.
-
@Clouvider might have something on offer close to those specs? If it's a bit more it's well worth it for the service.
-
Sounds interesting. As has been mentioned it might be a good way to get feedback on offers as well as working out what people are actually looking for.

(Quote) Only as a one off. And they add it as an additional subnet, so you get the original /64 and the /56.

Agree with @seriesn - we use a branded version but if I was doing some major customisation then probably unbranded. I work on the theory that anyone who is familiar with the systems will figure out what it is anyway so no point trying to pretend it…

(Quote) The NVMe side of things is almost ready - but as I've been tied up with that amonst other things I've not really thought about HDD/storage side of things in the US yet ;)
-
We do a managed NextCloud option, or a one of setup fee on the storage servers. Can also do a hybrid NVMe/HDD setup which should offer faster speeds if you've got a very busy NextCloud setup - the downside is they're EU at the minute.

(Quote) Cheers! That looks ideal. I normally take a copy via FTP and MySQL and then reimport into new server. Partly out of stubborn-ness as I don't like adding plugins for stuff that I can do myself lol.

Can anyone advise a good plugin to take a database dump or for taking a complete copy of a site including database? I've got to create a "dev" version of a site and only been given wp-admin login and FTP details. Not familiar with an…

Are you still looking for locations? I can help out with UK/London if required.

(Quote) Yes, where is the LES IRC?

(Image) This was on the envelope! I've still got the pics of the internal stickers. Thanks again though :)

Your smug dog meme reminded me of the sticker on the package you sent! Must upload the pics of the other stickers as you were right when you said they were good!

(Quote) I have this and optipng running on a cron to go through periodically and check through uploaded images. I also run a convert command to generate webp versions and have apache/nginx serv those automatically if the browser supports it.

(Quote) Perhaps not ukfast as they're more dedis, but 1&1 and uk2 would - I remember finding them years ago when searching for a VPS but ended up with Bytemark.
-
In terms of "big" as in I assume lots of people have heard of them then 1&1, ukfast, uk2, etc all spring to mind as well. But, they're also not providers I would choose to use myself.
-
@AnthonySmith do you want day/hour/project rates? Is 4 a strict requirement? (Quote) What does it do?
-
I've always found the proxmox interface reports higher RAM usage than the VPS reports.
-
(Quote) Is that to prevent a provider putting the "known" tester on an empty node? I'm sure a similar idea was discussed previously somewhere?
-
(Quote) When did they add that? Or it only in their hosted version?
