- About Me:
- avoid rarecloud. they renew for 3x the price and refuse any refund, even same day when the server's been dead and idle 10 months.

Fawwwk I wished I didn't kick off the referral code at 0% off and 1% off for $0.19. One coupon code from pulling the trigger on one. EDIT: why am I here a month later. damn you virbot

Thanks to @AuroraZero and @FrankZ for steering the ship and having me here. Thanks @host_c - For the most trouble free storage servers, almost to a fault - I forget I have them and keep forgetting to provision the one I just got. I'm used to m…

As long as no deals come out with insane amounts of IPs I'll be safe. Just realized nested virt is enabled and a past MSP was a Hyper-V house, so now I can make idlers on my idlers. (Image)

(Quote) Coupon worked this time no problem. Thought VirBot had cut me off - much appreciated!
-
The only way to win is not to play. You buy, look at your VM number count, say "it's good to have land." Then 11.5 months later decide if that pie in the sky project you wanted will ever happen. I still think I'm gonna have a b…

(Quote) They were two different VMs. Not sure what happened. They were #1 and #3 at the time, wanted to use that coupon.
-
(Quote) Yeah I had one of each, and it applied the 50% off and had a total of $21.79 but then told me to remove one due to limits. I removed and the promo became invalid. Still have one in my cart, #1874 which was BF-ORDER-3 at the time. I forget …

(Quote) But... (Quote) Did I buy too many? Didn't use this coupon before :o
-
Gold 6248? I can't wait to idle the hell out of that! =)
-
(Quote) Gotcha. Purchased it for one and didn't find the button, so I'm gonna wait til that's worked on. Really not trying to ticket in on these unless the node's down. (Quote) This implies I'll remember to use or provisio…

When one purchases the change IP button for a VM does that show up in SolusVM or WHMCS integration? Not trying to burn a subnet, but semi-anonymous scraping, not sure if it's a manual add-on or I'm missing something obvious. Glad to see …

VirBot back? =) I thought I almost had to begin provisioning these...

(Quote) Just imagine if you used the 0PERCENTOFF coupon twice, for 0% and 1% and then he turned on one use per client :/ All these idlers ain't gettin purchased no more because I wanted to get the ball rolling, not realizing that it's li…

(Quote) Yep once a I got a few around these size, I decided I was just going to bat cleanup on other VMs. Then the Chicago 4 IP, 4GB, 4 vCPU, 480G SSD NVMe came along with 8TB bandwidth, and one more was purchased, with 5y price lock. :3

Haven't seen a thicc IP deal with a bit of BW in a bit. Fun for VPNs and reverse proxies and also... (Image)

(Quote) Beware, that's how I have a bakers dozen at least with no clue what to do with.
-
(Quote) So much for my scheme of buying 20 small VMs to get a good coupon on a larger VM. ;)
-
(Quote) Used the second code on this and pricelocked it, I'll take that deal Howie!
-
Used the code, but didn't apply. Wasn't gonna miss out on this $14.00 PER YEARRYZEN SKU# V01-XDRAM 2560MB DDR4 RAMCPU 2 Core100GB SSD (NVMe)BANDWIDTH 4096GB2 DEDICATED IPv4Atlanta Maybe VM will manually adjust.

Got the same on BF-ORDER-3 trying to pull the trigger, looks like it doesn't apply to this VM, but still tempted... The promotion code you entered has been applied to your cart but no items qualify for the discount yet - please check the promo…
-
Works on BF-ORDER-2. I think he said for extra fun it only applies to one of the VMs?
-
In addition to updating the core images as usual, should make an addon for ad-hoc requests to update images. Like sure we'll add [random linux] operating system across all nodes for a $4.95 fee.

Fixed it seems. (Image)

(Quote) That usually meant it was for the other VMs (middle or right if you tried it on left) I found out days in there were coupons, and tonight about FRANKZ. I am not a smart man, but I do know what a good benchmark is.
-
Was the coupon added? WHMCS might not think I'm a current customer

Thread should just be named Hotel California at this point.

(Quote) Aww shit, didn't count on sleeping tonight anyway. (Image)

(Quote) They were one of my favorites. Still have all the emails archived, I think 100+ hosts. Very standard site, cheap IPs galore, and stable VMs. Of course it was an allocation need for their main host in the future, but those little things wer…

(Quote) John Nash may be holding onto a few for some banger deals, but none that gen-pop know of.

(Quote) (Image) And will probably buy it.

(Quote) You warned me. I thought I knew what I was getting into. This is like XVMLabs but mixed with a lottery and the option to extend and lock in. (one company we knew what they were around for and did great by all their customers) If there'…

(Quote) It was juicy and and the price was damn nice, I forget the exact stats. It was just NYC where I think 2/3 of my idlers are. I really wanted a DC in NYC Metro that wasn't the usual Clifton, Piscataway or the normal Equinix Secaucus ones…

(Quote) If you ever allow us to consolidate VMs, I'll likely have half a hypervisor there by now, it's at one I need something less New York-ish. More MIA or ATL if it was backup (Plex?) space. One day I'll use all these VMs for more…

(Quote) If it was Atlanta, would've grabbed it. I've got more west coast then I'll need for a while. I almost got it, but still have 23 that I don't have provisioned. :# EDIT: One that's so close, but no cigar. Gonna wait …

(Quote) As long as you take that price, split it in half, and double it. ;) Makes sense, I saw the wire. Gotta keep pushing those red tops cheaper at first. Now you know I'm on the block looking out for Omar...

(Quote) okay I don't feel as bad the man himself missed out on it. Anyway y'all can do something like a buy 25 VMs get 1 free? Not asking for any specific reason :3

(Quote) That was a real coupon? :o

Great I fell asleep in my chair for the first one after getting another NYC (24 now?) time to get a red bull.

Or a killer $8.88 deal that no one would be expecting. Any chance of Rocky 9 ever? Not a fan of Alma because they plan on ditching 1:1 with RHEL, while Rocky isn't gonna duck out and is going to stay 1:1 even if it means spinning up VMs an au…

(Quote) Mostly parallel I/O over ext4 so large files, etc. will transfer faster. In some situations ext4 can serve smaller files faster. In most cases with large files and nowadays xfs has the upperhand. Also should something go wrong, xfs has a deg…

(Quote) 100% I'm still coming down from the VirMach sale. I wish I was kidding. :s

(Image) I'm here for the gan- host_c sales. Is there any more VMs or coupons / plans to buy? That DM thing is a good idea, I go crazy trying to figure out the skin of a llama while hoarding more VMs.
-
(Quote) Guess it'll be "coming soon" at the other for... another decade or two ;)

Once you try a host-c storage deal, you know. No drama, BS, even runs windows fine, and no one mining shitcoin or running a train on the hypervisor... to the point of people stalking the ASN waiting for new deals. I feel bad taking one of the thre…

EDIT: All good, back up. time for a few more, I don't like odd numbers.
-
You can't look or talk about the plans or... it knows. If you see a good plan, just stand in the corner blair witch style and hope the price goes down until you can't resist, or there's a cryptic coupon otw ;)
