As I recently had to migrate away from some old services, time to do a little benchmark on the newer service... A little HostCram RYZEN: Killer-1C did the benchmark below: # ## ## ## ## ## ## ## ## ## ## ## ## ## ## ## ## ## ## Yet-An…

@jarland, thanks for trying and for the reasonable time to migrate elsewhere and the honesty regarding the remainder of the period.
-
Just for those not following the other board. The tldr: @jarland has taken over MyW from @MikePT (source #1, #2). @jarland said he would not give "any less than a year notice" in case MyW were to be shutdown. (source #1)
-
Following the topic in that other forum, it seems the servers will not be shutdown straight away as "jar" claims to have paid several of the outstanding bills. So at least it seems there is a little less hurry to migrate. What will happen…

To bad... My 'lifetime' lasted 3 years. Probably could have had what I used for less, but the gamble did not pay out this time. Time to migrate ~10GB (actual) of 300GB (max) worth of data. @MikePT, all the best for you. I had nothing to …

Of course this VM needs to run a YABS-bench. So here is a HostCram LXC-1G! Yes, the YABS in that topic is pretty much identical, but just to show HostCram delivered their promise! # ## ## ## ## ## ## ## ## ## ## ## ## ## ## ## ## ## ## …

Congrats @nyamenk and apparently me! Let's think about that this VM will be doing. I think dev-box might be fun. Maybe play around with swoole (php) for a certain project I should do...

I cannot know if 10 of my own comments are not spammy, but I guess I will just try? 🙏

Maybe it's related to Cpanel version... The screenshot was from 102.0.8.
-
Cpanel does have icons for me: (Image) I guess WHM/Cpanel wants to refresh their "dated", but very functional UI. I somewhat dislike their new WHM search function.
-
Would it be possible to add to an existing lifetime account?

(Quote) PHP 7.4 loaders were already there for a while, but ioncube could not encode any php 7.4 language features (for example Typed Properties in classes) until very recently.
-
(Quote) Even more fun. Only since 25 november 2021 does ioncube support PHP7.4! Just 2 weeks before PHP7.3 EOLed, did ioncube manage to make a version that support a not EOLed version of PHP. So I expect PHP8 support no earlier than 14 Nov 2022 for …

I will wait until Clouvider turns 100! Just 92 more years! Maybe 75+ would also work out! :p Congratulations! PS. this page contains funny spelling for "Amsterdam". (Quote)

I believe there could be a need for this. I believe "Apple developers" are pretty much stuck on MacOS for some of the work they need to do to develop Apps.

I prefer to just show ppl some random space... Just refresh if you want to see more!

I'm very surprised to see this here! I would have expected at least headlines on news-sites/papers around the world! Not even a single big news-site seems to have started "Live-blogs", to cover every minute and every change regarding …

(Quote) I believe error is saying that $save_status is null. Accessing array offset "error" is not possible if $save_status is of type null (, which does not implement ArrayAccess). The check I mentioned will first check if the type is an …

(Quote) I did not bother to check if $save_status is not already always an array, but this is sorta bulletproof: if (is_array($save_status) && array_key_exists("error", $save_status) && $save_status["error"] == &q…

(Quote) Then I could have joined the lottery as well. I had reframed from joined, because I'm not active on those social media channels. I wouldn't have minded to post "CloudCone Turns 4" and make an account on CloudCone, but tha…

@martijnk, I had several months (5 or 6) of 200 GB for 1 euro. Not a bad deal I believe. For life often means "for lifetime of the service; not your life" and the same applied to this. I honestly feel a bit sorry for those wanting their 1…

(Quote) That was also addressed in the email: (Quote) Those that did sign up for the actual paid service will get a full refund. It was fun while it lasted for 1 euro!

The company I work for did actually receive the question if the system was supported on Windows XP not to long ago. Our answer: No, but you may develop something with our API's if you would want that! We're not gonna do that! We still (fo…

It's not the Letsencrypt really removes anything. It's just that devices/browsers with outdated root certificates no longer have trust in certain certificates in the whole chain. Technically any SSL-provider has this issue. After a certai…

(Quote) I believe you can find the pricing on the pricing page. I would indeed have expected a link in the top-menu, but if you happen to scroll all the way down, you will find it in the footer menu.

Looks very nice! I guess/hope calendar, notes and tasks apps within CrossBox are on the roadmap? Oh please translate "Save" in Dutch to "Opslaan" instead of "Sparen".

Netcraft estimates 3.6 million websites across 464,000 distinct domains were taken offline because of this fire. Some of those will of course return when parts of SGB1, SGB3, SGB4 are put back online. However many of those will be changed into a da…

(Quote) I can imaging they might ask for a link to an invoice with the affected service. In my OVH panel I can just get a HTML-link to an invoice, which is visible for all to see. That's hard to cheat with because OVH basically gives you all da…

(Quote) This image probably shows what SGB1, SGB2 and SGB3 are best. No, OVH SGB2 is that tower that burned. SGB2 had the capacity to house ~30000 servers. SGB1 is the bunch/two rows of containers in the foreground; some of those containers are da…

(Quote) That video doesn't show the scale of destroyed really well. This earlier image maybe does show the scale a bit better!
