(Quote) @AnthonySmith maybe bring the thanks back to where it was, doing the same as the arrow. I don't think it'd hurt to have both in parallel? Think that would help new users...

(Quote) no please don't or if at all, make it an option in the user settings to decide, if you want an extra step there. I use that button a lot and it would be annoying as hell to have to click twice.

Heavily depends on your use case, so exactly the why that you rightfully mentioned. If you use the wrong tool for a job and get a bad result it is easy to blame the tool but often enough thats just wrong. That said I am still using Hestia or meanw…

(Quote) that's some new MJJ term for "reselling" Afaik stems from all those shady services that sell AI api tokens for cheap by "transiting" your requests into subsriptions models...

That keyboard doesn't neccessarily look like mechanical. If you still wanna try, I'd suggest red switches. Linear, only 40g pressure, silent(ish) :-)
-
Only mechanical switches. Test a few different ones, to find out which behaviour suits you best. For me it is brown ones, but this something very subjective.

That went quick and smooth, thanks. /close

money received and transfer ticket opened. sorry @Wolveix , maybe next time...

(Quote) yeah, it's from roughly two years ago, when they entered the lowend arena. I have a hard time letting it go, because also the IPv4 is somewhat rememberable - but then again, I have far too many servers still, because each time such an o…

(Quote) the purpose of posting a yabs and showing number is advertising, obviously GB4 number look much higher. the stable argument doesn't really cut it, as we are at GB7 meanwhile and even if GB6 would be unstable (which it isn't) why&#…

Geekbench v4? Seriously?

(Quote) That is much better description of the behaviour.

(Quote) Haha, that's funny. But obviously the buttons are independent, and revert only themselves so one tap up +1 / second tap up / 0 , that mirrors thank/unthank. The other one does the opposite , one tap down -1 / second tap down 0 So if yo…

(Quote) Heavily depends on the scope their maintainers develop for. Most people probably do not really care for anything else than their own environment. Having stuff on github usually then is just something the AI recommended so itself can follow …

(Quote) a virtualized kimsufi helps a great deal, NAT does the job. I run a sandbox VM for claude code and then some test vms, that can easily be reset to some snapshot as well. also an RDP in the same private subnet, to be able to easily use a bro…

(Quote) only started job related around April to dive deeper into agentic coding... then, from June, decided to refactor HestiaCP as a personal project... (Image)

(Quote) Real people will still use it for translation and that is fine I think...

(Quote) Not really, if it stops you from thinking, I'd be worried ;-) All it does is taking out speed unless you pay more. But that is totally up to you to decide. You can simply work slower, or go back to adding more of your own development w…

(Quote) One has to admit... very honest, no AI. didn't help though :-D

what is your relation to https://bbs1.org/ ? is this a fork or reboot? if so, why isn't it mentioned? and what's with that fixation on plugins? is that a thing?

(Quote) yeah, I can relate. so far spent about three months PRO and one on MAX subscription (not just left-overs) for refactoring from a much newer starting point... yet your approach is anyway totally different. will be interesting to see, once you…

@mikho how is it going? we're about one week in and you accepted a challenge of about "one or two days" 😁😁😁

(Quote) maybe @AnthonySmith considers to let people give minus karma as value as well (obviously still costs). then you'll only need a few members with high amount to downvote you in the hundreds to get closer to your target.

Question: if a user gets to -25 and banned, what happens if later someone upvotes a post and they get to -24? Will they be unbanned or is it permanent? Are there any grace periods?

Kudos @AnthonySmith , this system works quite well. Keeps a managable gate and the answers now allow for an easy judgement most of the time.

(Quote) absolutely agree. Also agree about prompting in native language. While using english a lot, if it is a second language, it's simply more natural to transport whatever is on my mind in my native tongue and let the LANGUAGE model take car…

(Quote) yes, because in your second prompt, right before the part you quoted, this was exactly the task you gave it: (Quote) the list with nginx, apache or both afterwards was the base for that decision with the prompt to account for all of them. …

usually restarting ssh will not cut off your current session. so edit, restart and log in parallel into a new session, before logging out the old one could also do the trick...
