(Quote) We have it set to 20 seconds instead of the default 3 hopefully it will be fine
-
(Image) ISO over https coming soon, hopefully tomorrow!
-
(Quote) just start going through them, you will find it eventually, its the one that works with your password.
-
(Quote) I just said "Oh My God" out loud involuntarily haha
-
(Quote) Fair, I have updated the title perhaps I was a bit 'reddit' about it. Can't help myself I hate oracle haha
-
(Quote) Yeah I get why you say that, I did have a "oh wow" moment on the first time it happened, will have a think about it, although we have to accept, people are here for offers too, and others seem to hate seeing them, cant please every…

(Quote) ... thanks I will add that to the list although I have to say... MS Edge on kubuntu was not really ever a test case :D
-
(Quote) I will sort out a pre hindsight plugin so you can avoid that in the future now.
-
(Quote) Well yeah... Haha, you can't ignore yourself

Haproxy update to hopefully iron out some false negatives. We were checking your backend every 2 minutes for a 200,301 or 302 response if it failed 10 times in a row we removed it from the live haproxy config. That has been changed to 60 in a row …

(Quote) Is it really bad right now, what's the lead time on new hardware on average right now?
-
(Quote) hmm, might be nice, my gut is telling me that this is not really ignoring a user or rather its being a bit selective, but I guess I can sort of see why. I will write that down thanks!
-
(Quote) Don't think that matters to us, as long as your main domain responds with a 200 we pass the traffic through for you to deal with. I will check with my colleague tomorrow he is the guru on this.
-
(Quote) Haha it actually got cheaper, you don't pay for compute resources at all when they are powered off now.
-
I was going to use them for TierHive Finland, maybe not now.
-
Congratulations on being the first host to take advantage of the new price rules!! 😁

Hmm might have to have a play with the freebsd desktop next week https://youtu.be/9Xm52v1D8qo?is=XMVPtvv67vFVuLHX

(Quote) Sorry it's confirmed that they have halved the free tier.
-
(Quote) You are right to be sceptical, the messaging is as clear as mud, but oracle is a confusing mess hidden behind clever terms so at this stage this is all a "be careful" thing I think.
-
(Quote) You just realised? Haha From the OP "This does not hide quoted posts from the user you ignore in posts other users you dont ignore."
-
I think the worst part is that they seem to be planning to leave it to you to downgrade or they will just start charging you. If I recall, you have to keep a payment method on file to have the free tier.
-
You will probably end up being right @cservers and I am happy to adapt if needed. I am trying to take the lightest touch approach first and then tighten up after, I think a lot of the feeling that we need to cover every possible problem in advance …
-
(Quote) lol only for a second on dev :)
-
(Quote) If it becomes a problem I will look into that in the future then. If I learned something the very hard way with TierHive it's feature creep is an absolute progress killer :)

Finished for today, another long day. LES-specific Google AdSense plugin installed. NOT actually working yet AdSense account approval pending, fallback plan is TinyAdz This shows adverts to non-logged-in users; it is Opt-out as standard for logge…

(Quote) nope, why would you want it?
-
(Quote) huh? Who said that?
-
(Quote) Yep, also to be honest, I don't really know what's going on there these days, if anything.
-
thanks @yoursunny also updated the route for the header bar Rules link.

(Quote) PM or email is fine for anything I don't see myself. Right now staging is essentially 1:1 with live, I am just going to start a new thread after all significant changes if anyone spots anything they can put it there. I had a thread op…

I can't imagine anyone should genuinely ever exceed 50GB and if they do should they really be using FOSS to begin with? 50GB should be the genuine use case 'i don't need to worry " number and I guess if someone is an exception t…
