Cheers! Yeah, they have pretty good pricing for power for 1U and 2U (something like 10A at 70 and 80 dollars respectively, I believe). I had to use the Wayback Machine to check their colocation packages.

Well, I believe Proxmox uses LXC now, and it's a well-respected software, all things considered. I believe OpenNebula uses LXC based containers by default, although I believe some providers use OpenVZ on it too.

Doesn't work that well for digital commodities, but if it's a niche tool or something extremely value providing, then it could work.

AnyNode has a decent OVZ plan for 12 dollars a year, so does Inception Hosting at a bit under it (although with only 256MB RAM instead of 1GB, not that it matters).
