Not sure if this is really relevant for this thread, but I had some deployment troubles on "Node RYZE.AMS-D001.VMS". The reinstall for "[Ryzen Compatible] Ubuntu 24 (64 Bit)" in full control panel claimed to work, but didn't. After failing to log in, changing the root password resulted in logging in to Alma. The "[Ryzen Compatible] Ubuntu 20.04 (64-Bit)" did work, but having to change the "ru" apt sources is a bit of unnecessary work (and the plethora of updates to get to dist upgrade stage).
The Ubuntu 24 on "Node RYZE.AMS-D026.VMS" I installed (a day or so earlier) on the other hand did work.
The 20.04 is nearing EOL, so having something newer as an install option (without the full control panel) might be nice at some point.
On slightly more unrelated note, I also reset my idling surprise box, and since 384MB boxes seem to be on sale, some recommendations on distros based on the memory amount might be a nice feature. I tried Ubuntu minimal (did not manage to log in), Debian 11 (Segmentation fault at apt upgrade*), and then got Debian 10 to work (even apt).

I may add back the code for them but have it load independently from the rest of the stuff so you can quickly see the memory, disk, CPU, service IP address, as well as control panel and VNC buttons, and then if you still have the page open it will grab the other stuff afterward.

Okay, I'm seeing the plans it generated and they definitely look "better." It could bee luck of the draw. None of them are what you want but some are getting closer. I'll do one as a direct comparison since it re-rolled it from a previous exact server and also happened to get the same exact randomizer roll (meaning it stays kind of similar.)
So 14% lower price, 28% more memory, 24% less disk, but 50% less bandwidth (the bandwidth is kind of RNG.)
Napkin math, that means something like 30-50% more RAM for the price while keeping the actual pricing formulas kind of similar. It just does some other things (which can indirectly reduce price for a specific resource and higher chance of getting more.)
Not sure if this is beta, but it took payment and then redirected me to an unpaid invoice page. Not going to setup a ticket as we're in the beta stages. Love the flash deal idea page.

I vote to bring that feature back, It was nice to have the basic info/controls for all the servers on a single page, rather than going back and forth between individual server page.

Beware that by default Debian doesn't allow password based root login - so just installing OpenSSH will not allow you to login as root (I'm not sure if there's another user that is already setup for you to login via password).

I don't know how things will end up but having an incomplete order could end up counting you as being a potential deal sniper (the kind that places orders and doesn't complete them.) It's not currently set up to take that into account since it's a bug. Usually the order would bee caught and you'd still be allowed to complete it. nothing crazy will happen, other than maybe being locked out of each new sale for X period of time or something if that ends up being enabled.
Just throwing that out there, I'll probably have more information soon on some official policy on how we'll deal with incomplete orders, with potential options to restore it if you do want to proceed but we're also not trying to encourage people into taking advantage of that by doing that (placing orders, not completing) then deciding later if they want to contact us about it.

I think they had the template broken, we never got to doing our own version because we're VirMach, and then they pushed out a bug fix for the original issue which was actually related to how SolusVM handled the template rather than the template itself (I believe we disabled Debian 12 for a while.) Then I saw that, resynced the new version after updating to that fixed version, and I guess they just did some other things within the template this time.

Sorry every time I launch Firefox it brings up an old-school alert box that does what an alert box is supposed to do which is preventing you from clicking anywhere else and getting your attention but then I get mad, force crash it and uninstall, so it's hard to do any testing.

Just throwing that out there, I'll probably have more information soon on some official policy on how we'll deal with incomplete orders, with potential options to restore it if you do want to proceed but we're also not trying to encourage people into taking advantage of that by doing that (placing orders, not completing) then deciding later if they want to contact us about it.
I think they had the template broken, we never got to doing our own version because we're VirMach, and then they pushed out a bug fix for the original issue which was actually related to how SolusVM handled the template rather than the template itself (I believe we disabled Debian 12 for a while.) Then I saw that, resynced the new version after updating to that fixed version, and I guess they just did some other things within the template this time.

Sorry every time I launch Firefox it brings up an old-school alert box that does what an alert box is supposed to do which is preventing you from clicking anywhere else and getting your attention but then I get mad, force crash it and uninstall, so it's hard to do any testing.
Okay seems like they stopped doing that finally so I have it installed again. Seems to be working for me, I guess the workaround is to be in my timezone, or does it happen in some other specific cases?

Added, not sure where I could've crammed it and I don't really like the placement so it's hidden unless you have more than one.
I guess just don't have more than 9 IPv4 addresses, any IPv6 ever, or an IP address that's really wide and it should look great.
